    Thanks for listening to a female's point of view. I've always been able to "carry my own", (y'all know I do the restaurant thing, which was mostly cash back in the day)...we never, ever had issues...he made plenty, I followed up. It was just kinda understood. If you care about her, have the discussion (over a nice bottle of wine wouldn't hurt). 😉 If you don't see her as a life partner, do what you're comfortable with.

    Ok. If I were half-serious...🤣 If I were to go on a trip someone else booked, I'd pick up the incidentals. I think that's fair. But I'm an Aquarius, we play that way. 😉

    How serious are you? That's the real question. If you asked her to start contributing, would she be offended? Or would she say "Sure, babe...no problem"?

    My husband paid all of the bills and contributed to savings. My earnings were "running money"...groceries, gas, everything else. Nothing was ever "tight" and the only arguments we had were about his daughter not being financially able to handle her life and constantly needing his help. Has your girlfriend ever offered to chip in? Way back in the day, I always insisted on at least leaving the tip for meals.

    Everything is more expensive, even peanut butter and jelly. I only buy meat on sale. If I'm not going to use it that day, I vac-seal & freeze it for later.

    I did an hour of detention for it in 8th grade...but it was funny & cute, not a fight at all...my boyfriend & I decided to toss apple sauce on each other.

    Grabbed a hoagie roll, meatballs and marinara from work, I cut a few slices of a portabella cap, finished off my bag of mozz, baked some fries, lima beans.

    I haven't really been able to feel my feet since boot camp, but I'm feelin' 'em today. We had 15 pies going out at 11am (a $400+ order), and I've been running ever since. Now it's time to sit down, smoke a bowl, and chill.

    Yeah, and those of us who passed tests consistently in the military had a system. My friends and roommates had me bring them booze & such while on restriction to the ship. I escaped without a scratch of it...Honorable Discharge. It kept us all sane.
