    My neighborhood is so noisy with stupid loud cars, there's no sleeping anymore, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. I was awakened at 2:30, then 3:30...and by the time I was starting to get back to sleep, it was time to get up because I have to work today.

    "Jessica" has always been my favorite. No lyrics, just a beautiful musical tribute. I both laugh and cry when I hear it. Let's go this way, then we'll go that way, then another...and come back together where we started.

    I've watched a ton of L&O (like the first 466 episodes at least a dozen times, and I know it's fake), but I've also watched a ton of true crime (Oxygen Network is all true crime). Sometimes prosecutors can dig up some new evidence, but if they can't, it's a serious taxpayer expense (especially in this case)...they may not think a second trial is worth it. Jury nullification is a completely different animal. Double jeopardy applies and he cannot legally be re-tried. Me too.

    I went to BE/E school there too in 84. That was a wild time. I'm 58 now, still not over it. 😂

    My dad said he was only afraid of 2 kinds of snakes...dead ones and live ones. One of our neighbors saw him run over one in the Celica (like early 80s).

    Been a Duke fan almost my whole life, and I agree. K didn't make him work out. (Probably cuz he was just gonna leave, and I hate that ****). Up until Elton & Cory, he GRADUATED every player.

    OMG...my husband once kicked the windshield out of the Monte Carlo not realizing that the door locks were also manual when the battery died right here in the driveway. I can't describe what happened when I showed him. 🤣

    I was talking about this with my mom yesterday...Dad would doze off to Arnie & Jack back in the 70s...I'd turn the channel knob really slow and then hear "I was still watching that!" I found out just a few years ago that he actually was my biological dad (long story) and damn if I'm not just like him. 😂
