They’ve lost control of this team. It’s over. I was hoping for some entertaining games this year. Let’s hope Harris makes the right hires. Move Sweat and Chase. Rebuild the OL. Grab an ILB. I will say that Logan Thomas playing with some heart. Only guy I’ve seen all night.

Our defense always looks like they’d rather be doing something else. I feel the same way. Just comically awful.

This site has turned into woulda/coulda/shoulda land. 😆 I still feel good about Forbes and to a lesser extent about Quan. I thought for sure they had a plan on how to use Quan. I was hoping he would be used in blitz packages/granted his injury makes this more murky. I expect the next DC will put them to good use.

Daniel Jones can’t throw the ball down the field. It’s all bubble screens and quick underneath stuff. Of course we will play 4 deep safeties and put Barton on Waller.

I could see Sam making an effort to get rid of the ball on time or quickly today. Very much improved from last week. I noticed the same thing with the outside zone. That should only be called for Gibson. Robinson gets tracked down from the backside before he can get to the hole.

I had to stream the game today so no game day thread for me. The stream is always a few beats behind. I thought Jamin Davis played more downhill today and made some nice plays. Yes, the Swift play was tough but that guy is pretty slippery. Opposing offenses are just way too comfortable right now. Forbes took his lumps but I still think he’s gonna be a great player.

I think Harris was always planning to make wholesale changes after this year, but was open to having the team/coaches change his mind. Then Buffalo happened. I think that was the final nail in the Rivera regime. Barring some sort of miracle.

I was waiting for the game where Sam proved beyond all doubt that he’s the guy. I think today was that game. Dude almost willed us to victory. Gonna have some tough games and plays. But he’s the dude.

I’m tired of our path of least aggression. As much as people like to talk about Ron’s low ceiling, Del Rio gets more of a pass than I think he deserves.
