You have to remember that other teams (I think) have to sign any player they claim to the 53 man roster. This is a big reason teams don’t poach.

Here’s a wild thought. Sam will hold the ball longer on the plays when the protection is good (waiting for his guys to get open down the field) and he will throw the ball quicker when the protection breaks down or is not as good or when the play is designed for him to do so.

Howell has the goods. He will have some ups and down as will the OL. My biggest concern after last nights game, and I know we didn’t play a lot of our starters, was our lack of physicality on defense. If that group plays above their head this year, this team will be good. Probably second in the NFC East good. To be clear, I am talking mostly about attitude. That passive garbage from last night will not cut it. Nobody wanted to mix it up last night.

Jamin Davis doesn’t look healthy to me. I know he had his knee cleaned up but he looks slower than usual.

I’m a biased Sam Howell homer….the kid has a few elite traits and some other really good ones. Excited for him.
