  1. You got the players on speed dial? I’m not sticking my head in the sand. But I’m not out here creating drama where there really isn’t any. I’ve already said I would replace Ron, but his media interactions have zero to do with it.
  2. I’m referencing the article with his wife. I’m saying it’s not important. I would have an issue if I felt that Ron was throwing his players under the bus in public. I don’t think he does. To be clear, I’m not saying that what he says to media doesn’t matter no matter what. I just don’t think anything he has said warrants the level of shock and awe that has resulted from our fan base.
  3. That’s pure speculation on your part. Look, I’ve said multiple times that I am in favor of replacing Ron because I think we can upgrade. But it is because of his marriage to Scott Turner, JDR (I’d prefer a different scheme), and his failures to adequately address certain position groups. Tangible football things. Where I disagree with “the mob” is everytime you get up in arms about something that was said at a presser that doesn’t mean jack ****. I could give a **** what kind of convo he had with his wife after the Dallas game or that he said some players were concerned with EB’s coaching style. None of that stuff means diddly squat and just because you parade it around like it’s a smoking gun to prove Ron’s incompetence doesn’t make it so. What Ron says to his wife after a game matters? To be clear, I just think all of that stuff is way overblown. That’s all I’m saying. I don’t remember anything he has said that would be considered throwing his players under the bus.
  4. “Like you’ve said before” 😆 The point I’m making is that none of the stuff about Ron’s pressers mean Jack **** about anything. You don’t like his style? Fine. But from a football standpoint it means less than zero. Nothing. Nada. People continue the “he didn’t know we were eliminated” narrative when it to me seemed like sarcasm or that he was annoyed with the media person. If I was gonna replace Ron (and I would), I would do it because of his devotion to Scott Turner and JDR (who I also dislike in terms of scheme). Not because of some media sound bytes or MMQB manufactured/IDGAF drama that has zero to do with how his players respond to him in a locker room.
  5. Fans were screaming for Lache Seastrunk to start a few years ago. 😆 Ron drafted Sam Howell. Does that not show that he thinks he can play a little? Also, there were plenty of fans that were scared he was gonna get killed by Dallas behind our OL. Is it possible that Ron might’ve felt the same? I mean, he committed to Howell after watching him play one game. Is that not fast enough for you guys? Before everyone grills away, I have said numerous times that I would hire a new HC because I think we can upgrade. But this narrative that Ron is some blabbering idiot has gotten to ridiculous levels.
  6. I think extrapolating too much from “If I knew he was this good, I would’ve played him sooner” is mostly just confirmation bias.
  7. Cut down day is a sad time. Hope these young men land on their feet.
  8. If Chase misses the opener with a stinger…I’ll be disappointed.
  9. I believe in Daboll. But I don’t believe in Daniel Jones and their trash secondary. Sell the news.
  10. Ravens ran an overload blitz to the right side and Sam quickly tossed it to Samuel in the left flat for a nice gain. I expect to see a lot of similar plays against the blitz.
  11. Because having a rookie Center and rookie QB is not ideal. I’m going on record saying that Stromberg will make the Pro Bowl in his time here. Excited to see him get more work.
  12. I saw them as having a possible double meaning. 😆 Sincerely though, I think this is just an unfounded rumor. I will be shocked if the Eagles make this trade.
  13. I hope he goes to the Eagles and then they overpay him and he goes the way of the Zeke.
  14. I understand the risk. It’s just an overblown risk. Every year we are scared that one of our draft picks won’t clear waivers. Every year they clear waivers and we sign them to the practice squad. I wanna say the Ravens poached a late round DB of ours several years ago. Everyone here lost their minds. People loved him as a prospect. He was a late round gem. Of course, he never amounted to anything in the league.
  15. So Orlovsky is saying that a QB with one NFL start needs to get better at recognizing the blitz? Man, I gotta sit down.
