    Yeah and those three home losses were to the Titans (7-3), Vikings (9-2), and Eagles (9-1). They were tough opponents so you’re going to lose some of those games.

    I disagree, I think most people know a quality effort/product when they see it. Right now most people do not think what we have is high quality, and there is a good chance that new ownership will produce something better. You are right about that, we are the Commanders under Dan Snyder until otherwise noted.

    I think most everyone gets that. The discussion is more that the current driver of the car stopped at a goofy McDonald’s because he didn’t want to spend money on a nice steakhouse. Or he didn’t know how to get there. The question is will the next driver stick with the re-heated fast food or will he try to find something better?

    That’s exactly why a new owner will probably decide to rebrand when they buy the team. Changing owners will be a circus in and of itself, so they might as well take that opportunity to change the name and get the circus over with all at once.

    China has about a decade max before their debt and demographic issues catch up with them. While seizing Russian natural resources in the aftermath of a collapse would give them some additional power, managing a crumbling Russia on their border will be more of a detriment than a opportunity. Especially with Russian oil becoming less and less valuable as the world moves away from fossil fuels over the next few decades.

    Totally agree, I think a new owner will want to establish a new identity and the sooner they do it the easier it will be. The league would be reluctant to allow a change if we had a household name like the Packers or Bears, but we don’t. Plus I think the league will be happy to get away from a name related to Dan.

    They must have a short memory. That already happened during the Battle of Kasham in Syria where Wagner made the foolish decision to attack a US military fortification. Putin let Wagner get decimated without any reprisal or support.

    Reminds me of when the Allies liberated Europe during WWII. Everyone who says Ukraine needs to negotiate and cede land to Russia for peace needs to realize it’s not land they would be trading, it’s these people’s freedom.

    Yeah I agree, I don’t think Musk finds owning a sports team interesting or useful enough. He likes radical societal change and all of his investments are tools to upset the status quo.

    He’s so petty and childish he doesn’t want to give the fans the satisfaction of knowing for sure it’s over. I mean… 1) Dan WAS our local guy and 2) do you know any good local guys with 8 billion dollars? I’m good with anyone who helps us win, makes game day fun, and doesn’t make any embarrassing decisions.

    That was assuming Russia would be on the offensive, but if Ukraine are the ones moving and counterattacking now it seems like the winter advantage would be a wash.

    Wow, this is an insane design! They clearly didn’t make it wide enough if people are crashing into the curb going 5 MPH. They’re also enticing people to bypass it in both directions through the bus lane risking a head on collision. Traffic calming is good, but this is a hilariously horrible application of it.

    So the Libertarians side WITH the authoritarian dictator for life. I don’t think libertarians believe in libertarian ideals. In reality they’re all just contrarians. Back when they were slightly more popular in the mid-2000s, the guys in high school who described themselves as libertarian would be the same guys who would say “I don’t have a team, I just root against the Redskins.”
