    Yeah, WFT was my #1 choice. It was unique in the NFL. I think the best part was that it tied the team closer to the city instead of some abstract mascot. The weird thing is our uniforms match a WFT theme better than a “Commanders” theme. Our logo is a “W” and our colors are burgundy and gold. There’s nothing about the uniforms that would give me a clue that we’re the Commanders.

    You hit the nail on the head. That’s what this actually is. It’s an accidental artistic representation of the last 23 years under Dan Snyder. Cheap, uninspired emptiness wrapped with the window dressing of burgundy and gold and the fading memories of former heroes to tug at the hearts of fans. What a fitting icon of Dan’s last year.

    It has a low effort, low quality, waited to the last minute to throw something together vibe to it. It feels like they’re lazy and hoping they’ll pull a fast one on us so they can go back to getting paid to do nothing. It’s kind of insulting the more I think about it.

    Oh no… how did they mess this up? I was hoping for a bronze statue of him leaping into the end zone during the playoff game against the Eagles or something like that that embodies him. A generic wireframe clothes hanger with its arms at its sides does not do him justice.
