  1. If there is evidence so strong it results in impeachment then they should throw his ass out. I don't see any way that could backfire on the Dems regarding 2020. At that point the GOP will be so damaged the Dems should win the White House very easily. I hear you on Pence and who knows how dirty he is. But if he stays as much as I disagree with him it's gonna be a Republican anyway and it's only for a few years. At least he is an adult who knows how to behave.
  2. That's the thing, it appears as if we want 2 different things. You want him to keep his job, I want him thrown out on his ass in disgrace and the history books to show in 150 years that this clown was the first President thrown out of office. A conviction would be sugar on top.
  3. No no you missed my point. If he simply finishes his term he will be remembered one way, if he is thrown out of office he will be remembered much differently. Basically everyone knows the name President Andrew Johnson from 150 years ago and there is only one reason for that, he was impeached. I want the same legacy for Trump.
  4. Not me. I want President Trump thrown out of office and for the history books to record it for the rest of time. If he serves out his term and is defeated in 2020 he will be a foot note. If he is thrown out of office every school kid for the rest of time will learn just what a disaster he was. Like Joe Paterno he will deserve this legacy.
  5. Enjoy reading this thread although I have not participated a lot. Good to read so many libs, I'm used to getting attacked by the Trump Cult on other boards. So what do you guys think will be the outcome of the report? Me I never thought Trump was directly involved but I sure felt his sons, and others, were talking to Russia about getting their help. I also see Trump as being guilty of a cover up, there is little question to me he has been orchestrating a way out of this behind the scenes. He just never once gave the appearance that he had nothing to hide, every action and word spelled guilt to some degree.
  6. There is a reason Dez is still out of work. It's the same reason a top 5 talent was still available with the 24th pick.
  7. In fairness, at least earlier in the game, Smtih appeared to be looking downfield but either didn't find an open receiver or they dropped it. But let's not for a second allow last year to fool us, Alex Smith always has been a safe, short passer. That's who he is and to expect anything differently is naive. And that is why this team had zero chance late down 2 scores. Think Colts fans would have felt that way had the score been reversed?
  8. This is a really good post, Crabtree put up monster numbers in college and most thought he'd be a star. Instead he's just OK to pretty good, nothing more, but he was below that for many years. But I'm not sure I see Doc as a slot receiver, seems what he offers is best utilized outside.
  9. I knew WR was one of the most talked about need but I honestly saw a bounce back year from Crowder and perhaps a big leap by Doctson, I saw Richardson as another Alvin Harper. But man I never saw this group as this bad, they simply do not get open. If Doc busts can we finally close the case and confirm that Scott M's tenure here was yet another example of a smart, accomplished man showing up in Ashburn and instantly turning stupid?
  10. I laughed. But in truth I see Simms as having real upside, Mitchell never really had that.
  11. I heard Jay say on the radio that Cam has great skills but he's got a lot to learn regarding route running etc. He's just not there yet. As for Crowder he is the only receiver on this team who has been productive. Calling Trey Quinn a suitable replacement is beyond a reach, Crowder came out of that draft as the best route runner.
  12. Ya know I looked into this and thought I had read it's only available if you do not have access to DTV or some such nonsense Another plan I have is Slingbox Pay a friend up here to rent a cable box in an unused room, then tap that box to access all the DC channels. That way I get Redskins, Terps BB, everything, Anyone try this?
  13. Is the Sunday Ticket or other options to watch all the NFL games live available through cable? I thought it was available via DTV
  14. I'd bite the bullet and buy the Sunday Ticket before I watch a game 7 hours later. But that means DTV and I freaking HATE the 2 second delay when you change channels. I sure hope there is an online version of the Sunday Ticket by the time we move. I don't mind paying hundreds if I can just see my team play live.
  15. How long is the delay? If it's a few hours I'd go that route, if it's the next day no way. I live locally now but will be moving to TN soon, I can't even imagine having trouble getting a stream after kick off or having to screw with it during the game.
  16. I am one who believes WR is not at bad of a need as say LG. But you really do make a good argument. The Redskins have a solid team but other than Reed, who is never healthy, they don't have one player on their team that can carry you to a win. They have no Zeke, OBJ, or a Wentz. They have a bunch of guys at receiver and with a QB at Smith's level that may not be enough.
  17. This is why God gave us the power to invent the DVR. I can't remember the last game I watched live, or any other show for that matter other than the morning news. Everything else is started an hour late to skip the commercials
  18. Cable is missing the boat for casual fans like me who think soccer highlights are awesome but I'm not willing to sit through 2 hours of teams I don't care about. Hard core fans would obviously watch the show too.
  19. So last night I was searching for WC highlights on Comcast. All I could find was replays of complete games. Is this available?
  20. I think I'm one of the few who believes they may be OK with their receiving options. It's not a great group but they sure have bigger needs. Josh Doctson has only had one season, it's crazy not to see the upside he provides. With a bounce back year from Crowder, good tight ends when they are on the field, and of course a great weapon in Thompson I see the running game as a much bigger concern.
  21. This is how I see it. I am still a big believer in Doctson. If every receiver was evaluated after their first season plenty would have been written off too soon. With this new addition I think they are fine at WR, certainly good enough to spend resources elsewhere. Obviously RB and LG are at the top of the list, then they look at the defense.
  22. Hey just curious to read how successful streaming actually works as we will be moving out of the area in retirement. From the posts it looks like it comes and goes, not sure I could handle losing the feed on 3rd and 8 or struggling to find a link that works after they have already kicked off.
  23. I understand bigs take time to develop but Cheko hasn't really shown much development. He has clearly been passed by Bender who came into the season as a great unknown. Even with all the foul trouble the other night Checko never left the bench, that's another bad sign. This is year 3 and by now we should have an idea who he is. To me the freshman are so much better than the juniors, even this early, that they should and will get the bulk of the minutes.
  24. Loved all 3 freshman, as good as advertised. Huerter was my favorite player even before the block. He looks like a shooter who can actually shoot instead of a shooter in name only which has been a pattern around here. But I wasn't expecting that type of defense, he played it well all game. Our junior class of Nickens, Brantley and Ceko are simply not Big 10 players, maybe not even D1 players.
