  1. I dont know if I agree with the idea this changes anything about the need. Is there a body there, sure, but if getting to the QB or being impactful is a goal, Ferrell has shown no real ability to do that. It'd be like saying we re-signed Casey Toohill and then said "well, DE is no longer a massive need."
  2. I dont think I've ever heard him do a radio hit where he didn't mention Tiger Woods, Coach K, Bobby Knight, Season on the Brink, or Navy. Or all of the above.
  3. That's what bothered me about Samuel, he's allegedly one of the top couple fastest players on the team, if not THE fastest, but you never saw that on gameday. Just no downfield or catch and run explosive threat whatsoever.
  4. Trusting the government to investigate itself. I'm shocked, that their conclusion would be trust us and move along. Shocked, I say.
  5. Darby Allin must think it's time for Mick Foley 2.0. He coulda easily just gone through some tables, I dont know why the glass was necessary.
  6. Soccer is unwatchable. And people complain about basketball players flopping, but sitting here watching Brentford and West Ham (for betting reasons)and these dudes drop like they've been shot if you look at them wrong. When the show the contact in slow motion, it's egregious how bad the flopping is.
  7. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. It wasn't bad, but it was oddly kinda dull. And it's not that there's not action and stuff happening, it's just that I didnt care. But I will concede, some of it might be that my enthusiasm for Indiana Jones is basically non-existent in 2024. And I loved the first 3, but I wasn't clamoring for #5. And not to be ageist, but Ford is just too damn old for this stuff. Some scenes he doesn't seem so old, but then others, he looks every bit of 80-something.
  8. The replacement games is an asset to the resume. You're taking these replacement players and coalescing them into a winner. That's coaching. And lest we forget, his replacement players beat the Cowboys who had a bunch of regulars, including the starting QB and 3 future HoFers. On the road, at that. It'd be like if we rolled out replacements against Dak Prescott, Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb, Zach Martin, et al and beat them. Gibbs has all the hardware, but it's the stuff like that he needs to get extra credit for.
  9. That just enhanced his legacy, rather than detract from it, IMO. Admittedly, it wasn't the best version of him, as there were some game passing him by, Willie Mayes stumbling in the outfield moments. But they had 9 coaches (not counting interims) since he retired the first time and only 1 could get this team to the playoffs more than once and it was him.
  10. Johnson has a body of work bigger than the 2023 Giants. So I'm not offended by this hire. Folks are acting like that's the extent of his resume.
  11. Dare I say, was Chase Young the former Redskins player of the game? lol
  12. So word is, Steve McMichael, Devin Hester, and Julius Peppers are going in this year. That's just what's leaked so far, so I don't know who else. But the fact that McMichael is going in kinda burns me. I feel bad that he has ALS, but he's not more deserving than our man Jacoby. He probably shouldn't be in at all, if I'm being honest. He was very good, but I don't know about Hall of Fame good. But being on that Bears defense carries weight, i guess.
  13. Can't say his shot at running the show to drive he can be a head coach was anything less than a miserable disaster. Now, not only is he not a head coach, he's not even an OC anymore. But there's still a couple slots open, I guess.
  14. The funny thing about the Kingsbury/Williams connection is the assumption that Kingsbury automatically wants to continue coaching him. Or that Williams is pro-Kingsbury. I work with a whole bunch of people that are good at their jobs, doesnt mean I wanna keep working with them if I don't have to. lol
  15. I think this is all retroactive spin now, IMHO. Had Ben Johnson wanted to be a head coach and come to DC, he'd be the head coach today. He was universally identified as the top target by literally everyone with inside info. I dont thinknit was made upnor overhyped. So Peters did care about getting an offensive guy. He was just open minded, doesn't mean he didn't care. And then by the time they were spurned by Johnson, what was left as the top candidates just happened to be defensive guys.
