    Its all about the intangibles. Allen>Payne. Count me in on the concerned bunch that Paynes play may decline when he cashes in. Its not a high level of concern though and I think he should be retained unless traded for a 1st rounder. I was excited to see what Mathis could do and Ridgeway does look like a savy steal off a PS roster.

    Cooper always eats us up. But if they somewhow rest Chubb and Garrett we will be good. The reality is we should win and i think we will.

    I bet they wont be playing Vet stars as much as normal. It could also depend on the player incentives and player choice.

    I think the biggest flaw we all share as fans is using hindsight to formulate our current stances. There is no crystal ball and there are just as many misses than hits. I feel like some teams are just flat out fortunate when it comes to QBs. I do understand the frustration with our franchise as we really have never had an elite passer.

    Trust me I understand what your saying but there is other considerations at play with first round picks. These include decisions such as FA QBs, selling tickets, coaching staff longevity etc. You cant just throw darts with your first round picks or you will cycle through credibility quite fast. Using other lower round picks on QBs works sometimes too. It is a calculated risk.

    With that said the pick better hit or you could wind up like the Jets. You have to trust the scouting and not force a pick for the sake of forcing it. Chase was the safe choice but its easier to scrutinize with the benefit of hindsight for information. I wish our pick was Herbert now but not at the time. Who knew?

    I just pray Carson has been spending every waking hour drinking stem cells, snorting HGH and sleeping in hyperbaric chambers to become the MVP calibre player he was at one point. If he can do that LOOK OUT.

    God I hope Wentz can harness some of his pre-injury form from his early years. Then we will win the next two and have a chance in the playoffs. If we dont get at least some of that player he was, why even put ourselves through the drama.

    My understanding is it is total snaps regardless if its reg or playoffs. If Wentz gets us in and wins the wildcard it is worth it. We havent won a playoff game in forever.
