Building on your point this is why Rivera is talking to Burrow and Tua as well as the other top draft picks. I am sure he wants to have all his ducks in a row incase Cincy goes haywire whilst also appearing unpredictable himself. If that did happen that Chase went 1 and we could flip Burrow or Tua in a trade we would get a record bounty of picks. Its a dream scenario really, or just take which ever QB he thinks is better if you think either is once in a generation passer. One things that is for sure is that either way the Skins are in a great power position. Thank God it's not Vinny or Bruce with that power.

I think once the combine and proday for Herbert come and go his stock will climb into the top 5. This could result in possibly devaluing Tua's stock because teams know they can get Herbert as a healthy plan B a little lower down without giving up the farm. We just need not over think this. Go with Chase and move forward with the no brainer.

We all knew Love would be on the shelf until he is ready. I am not sure we can even call him CT's replacement until he too exhibits some healthy playing time. He is younger and cheaper though so we have nothing to lose with him. I think next year's replacement is not on the roster.

Regarding Thomson. I really liked him but he has lost a step and is rarely healthy. I am sure we can do better.
