    Riverboats decision to go for two on the final play of the first game ended up being a loss but I believe that was a culture building decision that is a Win long term.

    Kwon Alexander is a good player not a great player. He gets hurt alot. Pass if it takes any resources at all.

    Fitzpatrick has the juice to lead us to the promised land and we can still go all in on building the roster. All without giving up precious draft capital and breaking the bank. He is the dude we need coupled with Hiney and Allen.

    You are right though, either running or mobility declines at a remarkable rate as a QB ages into his 30's.

    I think your wrong. Cam originally wanted big money but he never got it because he isnt worth it. Furthermore signing Cam would have been perceived as a direct threat to our first round pick. Signing Kyle was Ron's way of adding depth and potential without completely writing off Dwayne. It was just too early to tell what he had in Dwayne. Also Cam had injury issues.

    I think Ron was obligated to give Dwayne a fair shake. Otherwise he may have. Also I will add that salary cap and Alex contract had to do with it as well

    If Smitty retires I think Fitzpatrick would be an excellent vet signing. I also think he would EASILY win the starting job and be a gooD mentor for a young QB drafted for development.
