  1. Hour long special about the Paradise Papers on Vice News tonight at 7 EST
  2. I think the administration probably knew as well. I think they also know that Mueller already has lot of what he needs for what's to come further down the road as well. It's gonna be a chain reaction on up the line like spider cracks spreading on a windshield. The desperation smear campaigns today against Mueller on Fox and such are probably just getting revved up.
  3. So Popadopoulos being a 'proactive cooperator' means he was potentially wearing a wire at times since his initial arrest in July? Oh goody!
  4. Kinda thought that might be the case. Either that lady would have had to have some magical ability with animals, or it would've had to be a very weird coyote. I actually did lol at it, which rarely happens with typical funny-ish stuff on the internet.
  5. These mysterious internet advertising providers/distributors, whatever they are, they need to be scrutinized as well.
  6. Thought this was a good, succinct summation of what Russia's strategy is/has been
  7. Part of a new tactic/strategy? Try not to give any opposition time to counter-organize, and appear a little bit less dangerous and insane.
  8. Spencer and a few of his dip**** buddies decided to come back tonight for a quickie hit and run torch-lit rally, to chant they'll be back some other time http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/354415-white-nationalists-return-to-charlottesville?rnd=1507424944
  9. It's good advice. I'm going to try to be smart and safe if I do go. I'll be on a bike, so probably at the fringes of everything anyway. I have a feeling the RPD is going to be trying to divert people from there as much as possible, and clamping down more than people expect. I heard some talk in their press conferences that made me think they might even be arresting people for things like profanity. I think there really is going to be something pretty close to a zero-tolerance policy from them. The rally at Maggie Walker is way more my style. The smart thing is to stay far away from Lee Circle, I know.
  10. How the hell are the people of Dallas supposed to remember who lost the civil war now? Sounds like the RPD is not messing around with this. Cordoning off assembly points, closing streets, They're not allowing bags, flagpoles, sticks, helmets, shields, masks, caustic substances, etc. Seems like there will be very low tolerance for anyone coming close to breaking the law, or not paying attention to the prohibited items. They said they won't be able to separate 'the sides' though, which is a little bit ominous. These people coming are definitely gonna be open carrying and flagging about, from what I've read. Counter protesters are now coming in from out of state too. I'm with you. I wish these all these people would stay where they come from, but it's inevitable that these types of events happen here. I think I might go to the rally at the Maggie Walker statue in the AM. Not positive if I'll end up near the Lee Monument or not, but I think I probably will for at least a little bit.
  11. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like the CEO of 21st Century Fox might be able to wield some influence with that propagandic blather division of his corporation.
  12. On slate.com. "The Landscape of Civil War Commemoration" North and south. They missed that one in Montana. http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/history/2015/07/civil_war_historical_markers_a_map_of_confederate_monuments_and_union_ones.html This is just a map of historical markers, not monuments.
  13. For those interested, this is the Commission that's studying what do do in Richmond. https://www.monumentavenuecommission.org/ Mayor Stoney has always said he finds the statues offensive personally, particularly Jefferson Davis, but he's also endorsed a thorough study of, and dialog on, the issue. Because he updated his official public stance on the scope of what the commission should be doing after what happened in Charlottesville, so what. Political motives or not, this is a dialog I believe most Richmonders want. The fact that the removal/relocation option was not considered as part of the scope of the commission's work seemed odd to begin with.
  14. Pretty amazing. It only makes sense to have that commission explore all options. We'll see where it goes. I'm sure most actual Richmonders support this. I'm a little prouder to be one myself after reading his updated stance.
  15. The video has been posted for a pretty long while now. Had to have a lot of calls by now. I googled the number and he's got the number listed right on his own little website, with what appears to be his home address listed too...at least a mailing address.
