There was a poll a week or two in France, and something like 30% of the muslims living in France are OK with what Hamas did on October the 7th... Don't look any further why so many of our leaders are scared about backing up Israel a bit more... Problem is, if you look the other way, problems aren't solved and just grow bigger.

The end of season can't come fast enough for all of those players. One thing for sure in seasons like this, hits hit harder, it's harder to get healthy and you're more than likely playing at 80% max instead of playing at 100%. You never seem to make that little effort when you have to because you're more tired than usual. It's mostly psychological, but in seasons like this most of the players have already given up because you just aren't winning games. So Sam would probably look less tired if we were 10-4 instead of 4-10, even with the same number of throws and hits taken behind a porous OL. But we're 4-10 and that makes everything a bit worse. And all of that fall on the HC.

Except if Rons plays it like an absolute asshole, I'm expecting both to reach a "mutual agreement" so that Ron leaves the teamfairly and respectfully. I'm not expecting a firing in any way, even if that would be the same results. We've been classless and messy for so many years, that a little bit of class from our owner would be the best thing indicating that change is coming in the right way; Anything else would be so same ol'...

I believe he knows he's toast at the end of the year too yeah. Him saying he's not concerned about it, or that his future isn't on the table now, makes me think he already had this conversation with Josh earlier this year and things are already settled. Maybe Josh went with something like "go to the playoffs and win a game or two and I'll reconsider it". But besides that, Writing has been on the wall since Josh bought the team. And that's definately a move to try to save the locker room D more than anything, if he wasn't pleased with JDR Defense he had 3 years to fire him. I doubt Ron calling plays will change much, is the schemle doesn't change, players will still look lost. But for whatever reason, this franchise loves to stick to crappy DC. Anyway, firing a coach in season has never done anything or saved anybody. This D is not gonna turn into a playoff contender with Ron calling plays. Maybe they'll be a bit tightier and give 24/27 points isntead of 30/40. That would help a bit, but we aren't finishing 5/0. Maybe 1/4 or 2/3 if we're lucky. Which is still what we woul have done with JDR calling plays...

Yeah, Tanking to get high draft picks does you no good if your scouting department sucks... That's where it all starts. Scouting Department, so that's where you have to invest money.

I don't get why all teams do have one really. It removes singularity from each one and doesn't make much of a difference. No, I don't like our all black unis. They may or may not look cool, but that's definately not our color scheme at all. That's kinda like the Raiders having some Burgundy and Gold alternate uniform... That could look cool, but wouldn't be Raiders at all.

We have enough nerds and geeks to be considered "analytics". We're already an official source of information. Maybe we could even argue that some may be considered as "assistants scouts" too! So they do have to take this place into account

Yeah but we do have an history of making crappy QB look like Hall of Famer. Hell, Daniel Jones has our number and he's bad. That's the Giants, and they could throw us a HS/Pee Wee league team that they would still stand a chance. Game is at home, sure that's supposedly goes our way. But it's not a given either. Giants aren't good, but we aren't exactly good either. We're bad. If we win, it's usually a close one. If we lose, we're more than often taking a beating. I just read that against the Seahawks, we ran the ball 14 times for 44 passes. We're 0-10 in those kind of games. Them 20 Us 10

I've been reading that exact sentence since the early days of Jay Gruden. And probably even before that. We seemed to not be good at hiring coaches that have a bit of clue about that.
