  1. It would take a nuclear bomb landing in their front yard to realize that dear leader is a fraud and even then I'm not convinced it would make any difference.
  2. I work from home full time, but as of today, so does the rest of the company (Verizon).
  3. My issue with Kobe isn't about what he did on the court. Probably too soon to be talking about that though.
  4. My feelings about Kobe are complicated. He was a legend on the court, though.
  5. Here's my "Trump is the Manchurian candidate" conspiracy theory: In order to change the story away from protests at home, the Iranians asked their ally the Russians to tell Trump to kill Soleimani. In doing so, the protests are no longer front page news and Iranians are unified against their old foe.
  6. I liked what I was seeing those last few games, but what do I know. If nothing else, we know where the buck stops.
  7. Why would we want a departing staff member to pick or have input on the new staff?
  8. We're fighting a proxy war with Russia, via Iran. Russia wants us engaged in a tit for tat with Iran that gradually escalates. Sewing dissent at home and destabilizing our interests around the world. Strategically, I think this escalation plays in to Russia's hands.
  9. I remember a couple times in those last few games where I thought to my self "whoa what was that play? I haven't seen us run that before". I can't recall exactly, but there were a few things that looked totally out of our normal box and I liked it. Add: The QB read option for example.
  10. I'm with you. Granted, I am no draftnik, I only know what I read and see with my laypersons eyes. The guy who jumps off the page to me is Isaiah Simmons. I will be irritated if the Giants draft him and he turns out to be what I think he is.
  11. Too bad for Terry. I met Gary Clark at McAdoos restaurant in Radford when I worked there in the early 90s. Great guy. He was always a favorite but after meeting him in person, I loved him even more. Part of me is glad to see he still holds the record.
  12. Do you consider Terry to be a legit #1? I think so.
  13. On pace to crack a thousand yards. And under these conditions.
  14. It looks like he's just jogging around out there uncovered, I can't figure it out. Maybe he's just so much faster that the optics are deceiving. Whatever it is, dude is miles open, often. Add: For example, when you watch Tyreek Hill, you can see his speed and suddenness with your eyes and it's obvious why he's open. Scary does't look like that, and yet.. open. Guy has some special sauce.
  15. Can't tell what it is by watching on TV but he is open very often. Assume it's a combo of speed, and good route running. Can't remember a guy we've had in recent memory who is that open that often. Love it!
  16. We drafted Devin Thomas (and Fred Davis) ahead of DJAX because we thought he was too small and we wanted a tall WR. 🙄
  17. Damn, I didn't even think about that angle. Would be a good problem to have I guess.
  18. Sweat's rush style reminds me of the way Le'veon Bell runs. He waits for a split second to follow the play before committing. It will be nice to have a guy who doesn't consistently overrun plays.
  19. Kerrigan has 84 career sacks in eight seasons. 20 more and he's top 30 all time. Pretty nice player.
