IF he plays his cards right, he can extend his 15 minutes. This trap/country mashup is catchy and can become a "thing" on college campuses. I mean, ****...he had TTU singing his joint during the title game run...He needs another banger before college football season.

In thinking about it, Wall's contract is what it is...however, lost in everything is the fact that he's one of the better passers at the 1 in the league. While his athleticism and speed will suffer, his passing ability should remain the same. Wall will 100% HAVE to alter his game. If anything, this injury should make him a little more careful with the ball since he won't have that Ferrari engine. We may see his TO numbers decrease, and that's a good thing. I'm just trying to look for a silver lining, but there is no way Wall shouldn't average close to 10 dimes per night when he comes back. The scoring numbers will decrease, but he may....just may become a better overall PG. I hope LOL.

I never even really checked for dude when he was alive. However, it's been really amazing reading about all the good he was doing in his community. You know he was touching lives when Obama penned a note out of respect to his family. I ended up buying Victory Lap because all the money goes back to his estate. I haven't listened to the whole thing, but I'm looking forward to it when I get a chance. This death, IMO, is right up there with Biggie and Tupac as far as impact on the industry.

The writing was on the wall for Grunfeld after that contentious practice earlier on in the season. Even if they made the playoffs (and most likely got bounced in round 1,) I think he was going to be fired regardless. Bradley Beal got some guarantees from Leonsis after their meeting. One of them was that Grunfeld was going to be replaced. I'm sure of this. You don't go from having your camp leak things to the media about your displeasure and not wanting to be here past your current deal, to saying you want to retire a Wizard in a matter of months. I was 100% sure Grunfeld was going to be canned. Next man up has a daunting task in front of them. A team with little-to-no salary cap flexibility and bad contracts that need to be moved. I'm curious as to who is going to be hired. I just hope that Brooks is the next guy to get fired.

I stand corrected on Ralph Sampson...had no clue he was in the HOF, but my overall point still remains. *edit* At some point, we gotta have a discussion about how Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka have ruined the lakers. Gonna be something when no marquee FAs decide to sign with the Lakers. They're gonna be stuck with a rapidly declining Lebron and a divided locker room because the young guys CLEARLY know what's up.

Man, NO ONE talks about Mitch Richomond's 2 years at KSU being a factor in him getting in the HOF. Grant Hill is cut from that T-Mac cloth. Both guys were on the trajectory to becoming all-time greats in the NBA until injuries took their toll. This is why they got in. Grant Hill's college accolades were irrelevant in the decision to induct him, IMO. Same goes for Richmond. If the college game weighed that heavily in the decision of those responsible for voting, we'd see guys like Danny Manning and Christian Laettner enshrined by now. Yes, it's the basketball hall of fame, but unless you are a college coach, someone who had their pro career cut short by injury/death, made a global impact, or had an illustrious career overseas, you're not getting in on your college merits.

Not sure how much college accolades help guys get into the hall. I think if you're a college lifer as a coach, obviously...but there's a reason why Christian Laettner, Ralph Sampson, Wayman Tisdale, etc. are not inducted in Springfield. Dominance/impact in pro-leagues is where the bar is set. I don't think Grant Hill's Duke career helped him one bit as far as getting inducted. Without injury, he would have gone down as one of the all-time greats. Same can be said of T-Mac.

Tracy McGrady is a HOFer with a less than stellar playoff resume. Grant Hill also. Probably going to see Vince Carter inducted as well. So, based off of these three guys, yes, if Harden retired today for whatever the reason, he’s a 100% LOCK for the hall.

Charles Barkley, Nash, Nique, come to mind. I'm 100% convinced that with a healthy CP3, they win that game 7 vs. GS last year and win the championship. We'll see what happens this year...but even with the playoff chokes, he's an all-time great. Absolute LOCK for the HOF if he retired today.

Possibly, but I think it's a gamble I'd make. If it comes down to a decision between him and Portis, I'd go with Parker 10x outta 10.
