  1. Just read on twitter that the Wizards, Lakers, and Rockets will be in on the Melo sweepstakes.
  2. On the flip...Dwight is probably playing for one last multi-year contract. He could ball out this year and shock everyone...
  3. If these dudes would actually get some competent handlers...LOL
  4. If his act is wearing thin and it's causing a ripple in an already tense locker room, I wouldn't be shocked if the team cut their losses. I'm not expecting much out of the Wizards this year. 46 wins or bust.
  5. Dwight Howard is on his 6th team in 7 years. I'd be shocked to see if he's still on the team past the all-star break.
  6. Grayson Allen on Utah is a match made in heaven. Can't wait to see him in Snyder's system and how he's going to get after it defensively. Dude will have a long career in the league.
  7. Dude has no drive/heart. I'll be shocked if he finishes the year on the roster.
  8. We're Dwights 6th team in 7 years and somehow people think he wants to prove people wrong? LOL. Dude is what he is at this point. Upgrade over Mahinmi but about the same as Gortat. This might be his last NBA stop before China.
  9. I'll entertain this for a second. Beal has more than lived up to his contract that he signed in the summer of '16. Wall, right now, has questions surrounding his health...but he's proven that when "on" he can be one of the top 3-5 players at his position. They are both UNQUESTIONED max-contract players in today's NBA. Now, you want to argue Otto's merits, that's another story LOL.
  10. Rockets go 4-27, and they win. WITHOUT Chris Paul. Crazy stuff.
  11. It's a GREAT move for Boogie...he can literally take all the time he wants with his rehab. Get himself to an actual 100% and ease into their lineup. I think he's slated to return in November, but he can even push that to around the all-star break if he wants. Dude can average 12/10, be a force in the playoffs, and be primed to cash in on a HUGE payday at the end of the season with another team. It was a really smart move on his part. If he goes to a bad team, there is going to be a lot of pressure on him to do too much. I think Klay stays. That dude is wired differently and knows how good he has it in GS. I can see him being a Warrior for life. Draymond, on the other hand...
  12. He's moving the goalposts...SM could skip going to the gym today with the heavy lifting LOL
  13. The outcome was what it was, but the Rockets shot themselves in the foot by going an unprecedented 0-27. Even w/o CP3, they had a LEGIT chance of winning that game 7. I don't even know how you can argue the contrary...
  14. Houston Rockets were right there, man. Healthy CP3 changes EVERYTHING this past playoffs. Going forward is a different story. But let's not pretend like GS wasn't on the ropes.
  15. How is it broken? Cousins too a WAY below-the-market deal to sign there. Obviously, this is an extreme, but what was stopping Lebron from signing for the MLE here in DC? He could have done it.... If the team(s) can afford these contracts, then so be it. Cousins is going to heal 100%, play on a cheap deal, then bounce after the year to sign a HUGE contract.
  16. Man, listen... Trade either Wall or Beal now (to LA) and get some young assets and picks back. This team has reached their ceiling. They 10000000% will not ever in this lifetime compete with Golden State. At best, they are a 45 win team that can be a 6th seed in the East. Forget GS for a second, we're light years behind Philly, Boston, and Indy. I'd embrace a mini-rebuild right now. Look ahead a few years to when HOPEFULLY Golden State's title run is over. If you make a deal (hypothetically) with LA and get back 2/3 of Ingram/Hart/Lonzo/Kuz and a pick or two, you can start that process NOW of being in prime position to be a TRUE title contender in 3-5 years. If that mini-rebuild happens, I guarantee that they'd be in that same 42-45 win range IMMEDIATELY as our current Wizards squad is constructed. I honestly don't care that Boogie went to GS. It came out of left field, but GMs around the league have to start playing chess rather than checkers. Unfortunately, we don't have a GM with any foresight, so i'm sure it will be more of the same..."we like our guys" going forward.
  17. I'm just looking at it from a rebuild scenario. One where the rebuild could happen, and they'd still be competitive (and most likely a playoff team in the East.)
  18. Just a hypothetical...and I have ZERO clue if the numbers match, but would you trade Wall to the Lakers for some of their young talent (Randle/Ingram/etc) and picks? Wall deserves it, man.
  19. The extra money Lebron could make in Cleveland is negligible in the grand scheme of things. Dude is on the fast track to becoming a billionaire and a good chunk of that money comes from his investments off the court. Dan Gilbert ruined any chance of Lebron sticking around past this current deal.
  20. They'd obviously have to throw in draft picks...and I saw someone (verified, but I forget who) on twitter say that the Spurs have zero interest in Lonzo. Oh...regarding the C's, maybe Kyrie is included in the trade? He's been non-committal about re-signing after his contract is up, so they may try to move him with the hopes of extending Kawhi past the year.
  21. Teams are cautious about trading for Leonard b/c there is no guarantee that he'll stay with that squad beyond this season. Celtics make the most sense because they have PROVEN young assets - without as many question marks as the Lakers do. However, giving up a potential young stud in someone like Jaylen Brown or Tatum is a HIGH price to pay for Kawhi. If I'm the Spurs and I'm talking to the Lakers, the deal, at a minimum, involves Randle/Ingram
