  1. Read ****ing option and let Taylor run. Wtf I don’t know why we never run that play
  2. How could I be frustrated? A few minor defensive adjustments = championship caliber defense. Plus we have our franchise QB. PLUS Jon Gruden apparently was a part of our damn good culture. In the words of the LEGO movie, “EVERYTHING IS AWESOM!!!” (When you’re a part of the team).
  3. Honestly you invest $100M+ in db’s collins, fuller and Jackson they should be able to cover more than 2 seconds so someone on the dline can get home.
  4. It’s even more impressive when you factor in a no look catch. He closed his eyes just to show how good he is.
  5. There is just no reason I can think of for Davis not to be on the field for nearly 100% of the snaps. When he’s in the game he consistently flashes and is around the ball. And he can cover. Our other linebackers are trash and what I see of him has been good. Even if he’s not 100% on what he needs to be doing, at least he can do it fast. I’m tired of seeing Bostic and Collins on the field.
  6. Too many factors to play into what happens next year but pretty sure we just have Leno and lucas this year. Who knows what we’ll bring in for free agents and draft but if cosmi continues to get better I would be surprised if they don’t put him on the left side and bring someone else on as the RT. Whether they do or don’t is one thing but I certainly have no issues with it either way.
  7. I mean, he played LT in college so if anything we moved him around by making him a RT here…one would think he would be more natural at LT…
  8. For the life of me I have no idea why jamin isn’t playing 80%+ of the snaps. I don’t care how smart Bostic is pre snap. He’s garbage. Jamin at least flashes when he is in and has made some really nice plays. I can’t think of a single play this year where I was like hey good job Bostic. Not one. Davis being on the field not just more but pretty much all the time would be a start for me. Not seeing Collins out there would be another good step.
  9. Dude. No. He was released from the PS a week ago. Hop is doing just fine. Don’t hold your breath.
  10. I was more on board with Rodgers before he decided to become a giant douche. The fact that he’s now been rocking a man bun really ruins it for me.
  11. Can’t really find the right place for this but…Joe Barry is a defensive coordinator again in the NFL…for the Packers. Lot of things starting to make sense lol. Maybe we can drop 40 on em hahahahah or we’ll be the team that saves his job.
  12. Welcome to 2021. Kinda sucks, right? Meet JDR. Especially vs Daniel Jones. LMAO. Completely separate from the two of you going back and forth I need to keep my eyes open for the right time to call someone a doorknob. I’m dying.
  13. There’s no denying how well he’s played and everything he brings to the table. I just want to see it consistently (to include protecting the football both running and passing) and for him to stay healthy. I’m a believer but we’ve had a lot of qb injuries the last few years so I’m definitely gunshy about that.
  14. There are a few exceptions like Henry for sure. And I think it’s because you’re not running the ball 30 times a game. If we evenly split carries that means Gibson and Patterson are both getting 7-10 a game? I just don’t think that’s enough for Gibson. I’m perfectly happy with 15-20 touches a game for him.
  15. I think that could be said about any RB in the league though. RB’s often get banged up and those that see 300+ touches a year often have a significant drop off after a few years. I’d be fine wit Patterson seeing some more touches but tbh Gibson is a stud and I simply think we need him in the game as much as possible. Just looked at our schedule again. Woof.
  16. QB: I think we are all rightfully happy for and excited about Heinicke. So I’ll focus on a few negatives. He can have some accuracy issues - some high balls or throws slightly behind - this can lead to picks or the one to Terry on the slant might have been a TD if he led him instead of making him break stride to catch a slightly behind ball. Also we have no business throwing screens with him unless to backfield players leaking out or receivers running back toward centerline - those throws out to waiting receivers…he just doesn’t have a cannon so by the time the ball gets there the receivers don’t have much room to make a play. RB: this is still an area KDawg and I disagree, which I think is rare. I believe Gibson Is fully capable of the increased workload. He’s a 230lb bully and his first run on the interception drive he ran right over a defender for 10+. He’s always moving the pile forward. Because of his 40 time people forget how big and strong he is and I actually think he can really wear defenses down. But I still like McKissic more as a receiving threat. TE: I really like Thomas. I’ve been surprised that RSJ is basically our #2 but he made a huge play last night. But I hope Bates and Sammis continue to develop. OL: their strength is clearly run blocking which plays into feeding Gibson and Patterson if the game flow allows. Pass blocking has been poor but I think Heinicke kinda alleviates that. WR: We are so lucky to have Terry. I’d still like to have more shots downfield to him and Dyami but it seems like the Giants wanted to keep things in front of them hoping eventually the offense would make a mistake. I think Humphries is a better version of trey Quinn and that is not a complement. He’s quick sure but he’s got short arms and somewhat suspect hands. Tbh I’d rather see cam sims out there or maybe even some snaps for Milne. Overall we need more chunk plays. Heinicki averaged about 7.3 ypa but that’s because he completed such a high percentage of passes. Terry averaged less then 10 ypc which is not ideal at. I honestly don’t want to get into the defense because it’s depressing.
  17. I saw many more examples of him getting absolutely roasted last night and the week before. Listen, I like the guy and value what he brings mentally to the team. But this defense is getting smoked in the passing game through two weeks. So yes, I would rather have Davis in the game more. We may lose something from that mental side but I think we’d be better off with another player in the game that can cover even receivers and has speed. He also didn’t seem to be a liability in the run game as last night he had some nice stops.
  18. Bostic is an extreme liability. Even when he doesn’t trip and fall down in coverage he gets smoked by everyone. At least Davis had good coverage the few times I saw him in there today. I’m all for him taking the majority of snaps regardless of down and distance at this point. Apparenyly Bostic is super smart. But no one on defense seems to have a clue what’s going on anyway so are we really losing anything if Bostic isn’t out there to make sure we are blowing coverages and hoping oppontents’ receivers drop touchdowns so we can win?
