  1. Ah yes, the Case Keenum 4th and inches, not on the goal line, ball extension that turned into a fumble a few years ago. Good times!
  2. Pretty sure you can't name someone an interim HC in the off-season unless there's some loophole. Actually I remember Florio screaming about something when Arians resigned from the Bucs which could be away for teams to bypass the Rooney Rule, but still I don't think you can place an interim label on a coach unless it's in season. Can't see Ron resigning anyway with two years left on his deal.
  3. If Howell starts next week he'll be the 65th different starting QB in the NFL this year. A new record in a non-strike year. Let's make history, Ron!
  4. Maybe he means the Browns offense had only scored 3 TDs over Watson's first 4 starts. They doubled that amount today.
  5. I get what your saying, but this team came into today still controlling their own destiny which means the most important game was today and they got blown out in the 2nd half. No urgency in that 2nd half what so ever. And after the game Ron apparently didn't know they could be eliminated today with a loss if the Lions and Packers both won. That's embarrassing.
  6. Yeah I saw some some stat that Wyatt Teller was grading out as a top 5 guard first half of the season and 2nd half he's like 34th. He's had a calf injury he's dealing with but apparently it's been a trend with him the last couple years to start fast then fall off. Bitonio was rated #1 guard first half and he's like 10th during 2nd half. They're on their 3rd center so maybe that has something to do with it.
  7. Browns fans don't make any sense. The Browns were 11th in scoring offense with Brisett at QB. They're struggling to score now as Watson gets his feel back for the game , but Stefanski's offense is not the problem.
  8. Bruce wasn't around for Haynesworth signing, I'm guessing it was Landon Collins.
  9. Ha, say his name 3 times and he will probably appear. Yes he fiercely defended Snyder and Cerrato and talked down to anyone who dared criticize those boobs. Like they were playing 3D-chess while the rest of the league was playing checkers. It would be fun to go back and read some of those old threads.
  10. I'd be cool with Smith and Ryans. I'm surprised Smith hasn't gotten a 2nd GM gig yet after Houston. He and Kubiak had a good thing going for a while, just couldn't beat the Patriots and then Matt Schaub's game fell off a cliff. I'd rather go with an offensive HC but Ryans is intriguing enough I'd give him a shot.
  11. Payne is the best player on this team right now IMO. I would make him a priority to extend. Sweat I would trade and I'd trade Gibson as well. I think Gibson is a nice weapon but they don't know how to utilize him and I don't see them paying him. He's not a natural RB and the Williams kid along with Robinson are. Plus they have Mckissic and Samuels to use in the passing game who can play the hybrid role.
  12. Bo Melton falling to the 7th round is a travesty. But hey the Commanders took two of my picks..Percy Butler and Cole Turner. A little surprised Butler went that high but I guess after all those safeties went in the 3rd, his measurables were way better then what was left. And he'll be a gunner day 1.
  13. I took him 7th Rd in the ES Mock draft. He'll make the 53 on special teams at least.
  14. Sorry everyone, busy day. With pick 246 the Cleveland Browns select Chris Hinton, DT - Michigan. Former 5-star recruit who's father played OT in the NFL. Some might remember him as part of the trade that sent John Elway from Baltimore to Denver. Worth a flyer here. @Skinsinparadise
  15. With pick 223 the Cleveland Browns select Percy Butler, S - Louisiana. High upside safety who should be able to win the gunner job on special teams. @Skinsinparadiseon the clock
  16. With pick 202 the Cleveland Browns select Cole Turner, TE - Nevada. Stefanski loves using TEs and with the departure of Austin Hooper they add another here.
  17. A QB taken at the Tom Brady draft slot?
  18. With pick 118 the Cleveland Browns select Neil Farrell Jr, DT - LSU. Brown's currently thin at DT and Farrell would bring some nice upfield pressure as a rotational interior lineman.
  19. With pick 99 the Cleveland Browns select the forgotten Georgia LB, Channing Tindall. Instinctive and great closing speed. He's been overlooked due to all the NFL talent on that defense. Welcome to the Dawg Pound.
  20. Sorry man, I had some Bojangles for breakfast this morning. After eating Bo-Tato Rounds and and some Bo-Berry Biscuits it dawned on me I needed some Bo Melton at WR. In all seriousness he's one of my favorites in this draft at WR. I think he's going to be a good one.
  21. With the 78th pick the Cleveland Browns select Bo Melton, WR - Rutgers. Not sure when Watson will play but he needs more weapons. Bo's speed and quickness off the line will be an added plus for a group that struggled to get open.
  22. Yeah I checked yesterday and didn't think you all would move this quickly. I'll be on it the rest of the way. Sorry to interrupt the flow.
  23. With the 44th pick the Browns select Arnold Ebiketie - EDGE - Penn State. With Garrett, Weaver and Winovich currently the only DEs under contract, Andrew Berry goes with the premium position.
  24. I'm here sorry ya'll. I'll make my pick shortly.
  25. By win now mode I mean they have a lot of really good players all their prime. It's about getting in the playoff field and then anything can happen. Wentz **** the bed. Ballard was pissed as well as the owner because he knows the clock is ticking and wasn't going to waste their talent on Wentz or another reclamation project. I'm fine with taking a swing on Wentz since the contract will be easy to get out of, but the guy hasn't been good in years and it seems because Ron used the Gibbs QB evaluation methodology everyone's buying what Ron's feeding you.
