  1. This would seem to eliminate Dawand and Darnell, which is a shame. As others have said, it keeps the door for Harrison open though. I can see why the path to trading down a few picks, grabbing a 3rd, landing Harrison and releasing Leno to save a lot of cap may be an attractive option
  2. Levis literally feels like the reincarnation of Carson Wentz. Big dude, big arm, mobile, book smart, weird, turnover prone and inaccurate
  3. Reads like Brian Burns’s scouting report in 2019
  4. I was pitched an OZ fund run by the Snyders for some sort of development so he is into commercial real estate
  5. He famously loved Haskins, his opinion holds no value for me
  6. If they decide that they are set at tackle and don't require one, your proposed trade with KC is the way to go. You could probably pick up a starting TE, a starting G, a C (at least the backup to Gates), a 3rd corner, a LB and a receiving back with those 6 picks - need to take advantage that our positions of need are also the deepest in this draft (outside of off ball LB) You would then have the 5, the 6s and the 7. Can grab the 3rd QB and backup buffalo nickel. Could also choose from a kicker to compete with Slye, an extra LB, a developmental EDGE, a return man, etc with those final 2 picks. The second order effect is that it allows you to then release Logan Thomas and Roullier to open up a bit more cap space this offseason
  7. It's because he is likely a nickel at the next level given his size and length
  8. He’s kissing ass hard to try to keep the job. If I’m a new owner, I bring in someone new. Best case, Wright is in a short leash in 2023
  9. Not would I want to do but taking Skoronski at #16 to be a guard is justifiable. The top guards these days are at a $15Mish AAV. If they feel strongly that Skoronski is a top 10 guard year 1, that is decent value capture
  10. I think they need both a legit enough vet and a draft pick. Mayo and Gerry should not be making the Week 1 53 man roster There are still a few cheap vets out there who would be decent depth like Kwon Alexander, Rashaan Evans and Ben Niemann
  11. I think the Mayer hype has died down a bit. Now seeing him get mocked late 1st earliest in a lot of mocks
  12. Been listening to the Take Command podcast. Logan Paulsen seems to really like LaPorta
  13. Rooting hard for him. The GMU Final Four run in 2006 is the greatest sports memory of my life
  14. Guys remaining are as follows. The guys I'd consider are in bold. Kwon is the best of the bunch and put up a league average year with the Jets Myles Jack Deion Jones Rashaan Evans Kwon Alexander Damien Wilson Ben Niemann Blake Cashman AJ Klein Neville Hewitt
  15. Agreed. What’s funny is that Jay is apparently the opposite of his brother where he is a heck of a talent evaluator but mediocre coach
  16. I think it’s been reported that Gruden ran the show Day 1 and Day 2 and let Mayock do his thing in Day 3, which makes sense given that’s where they ended up w Crosby and Renfrow
  17. That slippery turf really helped both OLs in the Super Bowl. Wylie is a fantastic athlete with shorter arms who has played better at guard
  18. I agree. Based on history, someone we like who has a high chance of being a future starter and at least a solid backup this year should be around in the 3rd. I think Stromberg will go a lot higher than what these mocks are calling for
  19. I know you are not a big Freeland fan. For all positions, it is generally true the later you draft, the higher the bust rate is Interesting to note that every single prospect with the official designation as a center taken with a 3rd round comp pick or a 4th rounder between 2018-2021 has been a hit - Mason Cole, Allen on the Rams, Biadasz, Drew Dalman and Quinn Meinerz
  20. I agree they take 2 linemen. with the premium positions like OT and EDGE, you are getting projects in rd 3. On the other hand, with a non premium position like guard or center, you can potentially get yourself a guy who can step in Day 1 like a Stromberg with the 3rd round comp pick Dawand Jones in rd 1, Julius Brents in rd 2 and Ricky Stromberg in rd 3 would be a solid haul
  21. A project OT like Freeland makes little sense for this team. This is a team that currently does not have a OL coach and a project like Freeland makes little sense for a coaching staff in a win now year. I expect them to mirror the lower ceiling higher floor strategy they used last year. A guy like Dawand Jones fits that mold well
  22. Moses still appears to be solid after all these years and is making chump change with the Ravens
  23. A lot of mocks are linking them to Banks
  24. These solo guy shows are all they can afford. Why would he when he has his propaganda sports network in NBCS? Hope that thing fails
