  1. In case nobody noticed.... Simms Jr put on 15 lbs from last year. Started week 1 2019 at 174lbs and is heading into week 1 2020 at 190 lbs.
  2. I've lived outside the US since 2011 and never missed a game except for crap internet connection issues. I'll try and post stream links again when I'm watching games. Cheers
  3. It's very much an interior core related muscle. Hard to surgically repair, not like a typical sports hernia. They would have done an MRI for sure. Could be caused by over training. Even slight tears take 2-4 weeks to heal. Why risk it? 49'ers shut down Bosa for similar issues.
  4. They need to shut him down from possibly tearing more of that hip flexor or he won't ever be 100% this year.
  5. That's true until Bryce Love takes it to the house...then enter Gibson on play action...mix in Simms Jr breaking dig routes...it's all about play-calling and play-makers. When there's predictable play-calling there's no play-makers.
  6. Better than last year. They've now got a#1 WR who's played with Haskins for years. They didn't over pay for a #1 and will be able to pay McLaurin with an extension before having to extend the QB. They have young athletic guys motivated to be the #2. They found a play maker in Simms Jr. who found the EndZone 6 times as an undrafted. The team is situated well to add a missing piece when they are ready to make a move. Exactly the reason I'm happy they didn't sign Amari Cooper.
  7. How can you let the owner stay after allowing this ****. I'll only be happy if Snyder is forced to sell. Can't take this organization seriously...and that's coming from a Hall of Fame class clown!
  8. I would lean towards 'Organized Chaos'. From my experience this is the exact scenario where winners win. Ron has been handed one egg after the other. In these instances you must solve the issues that each egg creates. Unfortunately, if the issues remain unresolved, then you are handed another egg...eventually you're going to drop one. I think the visual of that egg hitting solid ground is enough of a result. I'd imagine Ron is smart enough to know when he has too much to deal with and needs to hire for positive results. The problem is where he wonders outside his lane. He's not the marketing genius to rebrand a historical NFL franchise. I hope he sticks to football.
  9. I think the WR corp is fine moving into 2020. This team can add vets when they know what they have for certain at each slot. The QB will benefit from real NFL coaching that wasn't there last year. The WR have already proven they can play. If there is a place where it is obvious there's an issue it's at TE. They will need to get creative to overcome that deficiency.
  10. McLaurin is a true #1 WR. He has the size, speed, and skills. Plus, he is smart and self motivated. The lack of a realized #2, formidable TE threat and stable LT are his limitations. Skins just need time to check those boxes to allow him to reach his potential.
  11. No. Steve Smith Jr is a football shorter and 15 Lbs lighter and McLaurin is faster. He's a Marvin Harrison style WR with a hungry 50-50 ball fighter mentality. Garcon didn't have his speed.
  12. I said 'He could have", that is pumping the brakes dude. Also pointed out that he is very much like Harrison who had a few 1600+ yard seasons and the first one was Peyton"s sophmore season. I'm actually not a Haskins fan yet so that"s the underlying issue with McLovin...he would have had 1200+ yards as a rookie if the QB play was even average. I expect to see far better coaching and organization benefiting Haskins in year 2.
  13. He reminds me of Marvin Harrison. It won't matter whomever covers him, he will get open. Haskins needs to feed him the ball. If they do, he will light the NFL on fire on his journey to a Gold Jacket. He could have 1600 yards and 12 TDs very soon.
