  1. I’d be lining this guy up all over to create pass rushing mismatches. Go chase the qb youngin. Create havoc. Think about nothing but causing disruption. Make the game small for him and maximize his speed and explosiveness 🤷‍♂️
  2. They do have special players…players that are consistently put in a position to perform and win.
  3. You get imaginative in your approach to apply pressure. You mix up personnel groupings (even within same formations) to create thoughts in the offense. You don’t give them the same garbage over and over hoping your touted dl wins 1v1 matchups. The nfl doesn’t work that way. You line up Davis all over the place and tell him to hunt the qb for starters. You do whatever it takes to relentlessly apply pressure. It can be coached. See Pittsburgh
  4. Disagree. We lack imagination, creativity and togetherness. Things a different set of eyes could effect in a tremendous way given an opportunity 🤷‍♂️
  5. I believe we have playmakers. The dl needs to be more imaginative presnap instead of perpetually relying on 1on1 victories. If we would just at least give different front looks, move sweat around, put our guys in position to hunt successfully; the big plays will organically happen. We’re too passive. We have dogs. Right now they’re leashed and it’s frustrating to watch
  6. Watching our defense is like watching 3 different units, dl, lb, db, running 3 different schemes simultaneously. It’s like the groups never sit in a film room or practice together. Nothing defensively is in sync. We’re not disrupting. We’re not aggressive. We’re not penetrating. There is no unit right now. The defense is totally floundering and injuries are beginning to add up. How does this get fixed?….chase won’t be the answer. Another linebacker isn’t walking thru the door this year. Our thin dl took some lumps today (did Allen even play?). The only saving grace for the dbs will ultimately be a defense that relentlessly pressures the qb. we are absolutely not doing that right now even though we have the individual ability to do so. That’s coaching. JDRs stubborn approach to defensive scheme has failed the individual talent on the defense. He doesn’t call a game to our strengths. He calls a game hoping the other teams offense stumbles and fumbles their way thru a game. He doesn’t coach aggression. He doesn’t coach cohesion. And he certainly doesn’t tailor his scheme around the talent. RR has to fire his buddy. Then he needs to set a fire underneath the defense. RR should be calling the entire D to the carpet tomorrow and tell them it’s time to do it different.
  7. JDRs crap better be in a box by the time them wheels touch down in va
  8. JDR has got to go. Our OL is getting pummeled. Possibly the worst half of football I’ve watched ever.
  9. TBH, I’d rather Allen sit this week and nip that “nothing to see here” groin issue in the bud before we have another Curtis Samuel on our hands this season
  10. UVA’s #99, Keytaon Thompson is an absolute monster on offense. Legit man among boys on the field.
  11. personal preference for myself…not that it matters at all, youth over vet all day. I think RR is kinda rollin with the youth movement as well
  12. Jon Allen scores a TD with the trifecta…stripsack fumble recovery. Wentz throws 2 TDs to Samuel. We win 27-13
  13. This is sooooo important to the process. Time to start manifesting greatness!
  14. Precisely the type of offense that gives us fits because we struggle getting off the field on 3d down. Teams with mobile QBs give us fits. If that narrative changes for us, then we should win the division. At the end of the day, Philly, even as a running team, can’t run when it counts and that’s their Achilles
  15. We’re loaded offensively. I know a lot of folks will find it hard to believe based on our past, but we’re going to dictate things offensively. And it’s gonna be fun to watch! Yay!
  16. Jeter can ball. His stats won’t jump off the screen because he’s not flashy…but the man does not get moved around easily.
  17. Commander Wentz makes this offense go. He is the straw that stirs the drink. As long as he’s slinging it to all areas of the field, making all our weapons viable; we’ll have a true NFL caliber offense that can dictate action. Carson makes us an aggressor…something we haven’t been in an awful long time
  18. As disruptive as sweat was, the difference between him and guys like Mack and parsons is that sweat doesn’t finish. He’s gotta figure out where to get that xtra gear to finish the pressures with game changing sacks/forced fumbles
  19. Just unreal. Prayers lifted up for you and your fam young man.
  20. I’m not basing my opinion on a single play. He doesn’t extend his arms to catch the ball and it hurts his ability to win contested matchups
  21. Dyami has to learn to high point the ball if he wants to get more looks imo
  22. Gonna be a hard season to watch if we can’t get off the field on 3d down. 🤦‍♂️
  23. Wow…guess they did him a solid doin it early. Speed stays employed
