Josh Allen and Sam Howell are eerily/favorably similar. Watched a lot of Howell in college. He carried a Power 5 program. He’s a multi sport star with supreme athleticism and arm angle throw diversity. I truly believe we have our QB. Apparently he’s got some things to learn and I wouldn’t play him til we’re out of the playoff hunt. But soon as we are, it would be criminal to not ascertain what we have before shopping for something shiny

I want to see what we have in Howell as soon as feasible. I advocated for drafting him and was obviously stoked we got him where we did. The comparison to TH is actually not far off. I believe he’ll carry the locker room the same way TH does. He plays with fire and moxie…and obtw, his physical skills are TH on steroids. He was also a multi sport star playing for Dre Blys travel baseball BlackSox. I’m intrigued at how he translates to NFL. I really think we found the guy, but I haven’t seen or heard much since camp. Only the coaches know I suppose 🤷‍♂️

the past couple of games Jamin Davis has been flying around everywhere; the front 4 (read sweat really) has been dominant; also, WJ3 has been “out”. Coincidence?…im not sure if that’s coaching, competition level or younger guys clicking together finally. We’ve had the luxury of being very vanilla recently. We’ve also had our butts handed to us against superior offenses. I think we’re somewhere in the middle with CY giving us the potential to be top tier. …random but I want to see more butler and less Forrest

gotta get out the box with your thinking. There’s multiple ways to roll coverage, personnel groupings etc that you’d utilize to refer unleashing Davis feasible. You don’t do it in a vacuum. You do it with all layers of the d understanding that we’re not playing soft coverage anymore.

They excel offensively where we are vulnerable defensively. Not a good matchup for us at all right now. Could very well get ugly
