I’m a fan of multi sport guys. Especially guys with a baseball background. Such a cerebral sport. A sport of failure and resilience. QBs that play baseball get xtra marks from me. Sam Howell is that dude.

Howell gets no love. He’s been a stalwart tho. Unc started the season highly ranked. Maybe their fall made howells appeal lose luster. Idk. His team and coaches love him and that speaks volumes

I think Howell will prove to be the pick of this bunch. He’s cerebral…a baller…and a leader. Those translate. Helluva baseball player on Dre Bly’s BlackSox travel team as well. I want Sam Howell. I said it

Howell…Coral…Willis in that order for me. Doesn’t mean who I think will actually be better. But who I think would mesh with what we do. I’d love to take Willis but we just can’t. So it’s between Coral and Howell. Ima roll the dice with Howell. I just think he projects better on sun

I think we can get him and a qb with our pick in the 2d. Proposed that thought a few days ago and immediately got shot down. I think we can get our qb in the 2d of this draft. Dean is a game changer right now

Chances we can get Nakobe Dean or Devin Loyd in the 1st and still get Sam Howell or Malik Willis In the 2d? I’d be very happy with any combo of this

Oh absolutely. I’m not denying the talent or potential impact BW could have here. I’m merely stating the WFT have been building primarily thru the draft, shunning the shiny object approach. Less we forget how the shiny object approach got us where we are. Building thru the draft takes time. You are gonna miss. When you miss on a pick, it doesn’t cripple you financially like a fa does. When you build thru fa, you can’t establish and maintain a team identity. we’re trying to establish our identity. OUR identity. Retreads really shouldn’t apply

Same as mine but I swap Howell and Pickett rn. Senior bowl and combine will be very telling. One of these 4 will be our future. Really love coral…really like Willis. Pickets hands may be a problem. Sam Howell just projects well to me…don’t ask me why…he just does
