Keeping one name for the entirety of a sports venue's lifespan makes the place that much more holy. Even if you SUCK like the Eagles, and your field is full of rabbit holes, Veterans Stadium was their pride (since they have no trophies). **** the Eagles. Even Fed Ex Field, or "FED EX" as we call it, for all its faults, has an aura about it. Change that **** to something else and it'd still be FED EX.
