I think the Ewoks distract people from what is an excellent film in Return of the Jedi.  I've never had a problem with their uprising.

It is quite disappointing to know that the original plan was to have Wookies instead of Ewoks.  That would've been ****ing crazy.

A distant second is A Christmas Story.  Catch it on TNT every year.

You're dead right. I rank ROTJ right after ESB and before ANH and TFA. Its better than both those movies,

He tried to have him killed at that nightclub. Remember?

I thought that was later though. Like he had been back for awhile at that point. I thought he even buried those ****-a-roaches, the Diez brothers in between. Maybe I am remembering wrong.

And let's be honest, there are much better ways to have Tony killed than blindly firing in the middle of a nightclub with chaos immediately ensuing. Should have called Tony in for a meeting and just surrounded him with goons...kind of how Tony ended up killing Frankie.

---------------

There are a lot of flaws with ROTJ.

A Christmas Story is an all - timer for me.

Scarface is overrated but still awesome.

The Big Chill is in the discussion for greatest soundtrack ever. The movie...is a bit of a mess. But Goldblum >

Greatest year in film history??!?! Holy crap, great movies... Stay golden

To be honest, the 80's get even better.  I think it was the best decade of movies.
