skinsmania123
Excuse me but didn't Carson Palmer just undergo extensive surgery with an injury labled "catastrophic" by the Doctor who preformed the surgery? Then there is the little problem with his recently signed $90 mil contract....this is a stupid thread by the way
HeHateMe
Sure. Cincy would do that. As long as the Skins threw in 2 first rounders too. Even then I doubt it would go down on Cincy's end.
Jumbo
I think Carson would be an awesome fit for the Al Saunders offense. Now that his knee is torn up, I say we trade Lavar and Ramsey to Cincey for Carson Palmer and their first round pick. Is this a good trade? You're going to burn in hell, barry

Guest ComebackKing
Umm will somebody please tell the maker of this thread Carson Palmer was signed through 2014. Maybe we could do the trade in 9 years but right now it's more likely Brunell would beat Michael Vick in a footrace.

I mean, even if Carson is a little gimpy at the start of next season, he would still be better than Brunell has been. I'm sure the Danny could work the money "situation" out. mikeyf316
It would make perfect sense. Brunell is washed up. Ramsey is a solid back-up. And Campbell needs a few more years to develop. Let's trade Lavar for Carson Palmer. Palmer is younger than Peyton Manning and is a better passer than Vick. He's the only player I can think of who is even in a class with LaVar, so it would be a perfect trade for both teams!!! I really hope you're kidding. You realize tht Palmer just signed a ten year extension before the playoffs started, correct? Please, even when kidding, please, please, please stop posting these trade X for Y threads. It's not funny anymore.

I agree Barry. I would like the information on this alleged "extension" to be confirmed by a third party. I'm not buying it.

Even so, it's a chance worth taking in my opinion. I think it's worth the risk, and I wouldn't have a problem with them throwing in a draft pick either. bishtw
I cant stop laughing. Thanks Barry. Today (this week for that matter) was pretty crappy. You've made it all better. LMAO this thread is funny.
Peregrine
What in the world would posses someon to think that a trade if Arrington for Palmer is even remotely plausible?

DoGood28
WHY can't it happen? I'm of the opinion, that anything can happen, if you want it bad enough. Because it is a unanimous feeling amongst Cincy that Palmer is their ticket to respectability. No way can Arrington make them as good without Palmer as they would be with him. This trade is stupid. No way can Arrington make them as good without Palmer as they would be with him. This trade is stupid. Arrington would have just as much impact in Cincinatti as Carson. I think we should do whatever we have to do, including giving up draft picks to sign Palmer. This should be priority one this off-season. We don't even need another Wide Receiver if we sign him, because he would make Jacobs as good as Owens or Wayne.
OriginalWhizzinator
Nah, Lavar and Brunell for Tom Brady. Ramsey for the left side of the seattle line (Walter Jones & Hutch). Maybe Jimoh for Steve Smith, Panthers dont want him after seagulls shut him down...lol.

Fred Jones
Hey, another thread I can increase my post count in. Seriously, people actually believe that we could trade Lavar, or for that matter any of our players for a franchise QB. Cincy won the QB lottery. Not Houston, or San Fran or Cleveland or the other number one draft failures. Carson is the real deal. Cincy is not going to trade him. Also, he just signed a big contract. Their cap hit would be huge. I guess if this thread continues I want to know why the thread starter picked Carson. I mean, why not Brady? He has already proven himself. I don't see why NE would not trady Brady for Lavar. Heck, why don't we throw in Ramsey.

Especially for a linebacker of Lavar's caliber. Brady for Lavar and Ramsey would be an AWESOME trade. I'd even throw in an upper round draft pick also.
