Commander PK
You are kidding, right? If not.. I still think Lavar for Wolverine would be better. Yeah, I'm kidding. Oh wait, no I'm not yes I am. I am. I'm not. I was.
Commander PK
The offseason has arrived.... I think Lavar for the Dino-Bot Transformers would be incredible. We could put them all on the defensive line. I can see Grimlock taking Manning's head off now. Maybe Voltron would sign on as well. He could come out and line up as middle linebacker, but if it's a pass play....he could seperate into all 5 lions and slide into the backfield. I wonder, would that be too many players on the field if the ball has already been snapped? Could they catch the refs off guard? ME GRIMLOCK TAKE OFF PEYTON'S HEAD!!!!!!!! Gregpeck99
Barry ... congratulations ... I've been reading your posts now for a couple of years and you are hands down the most brilliant, most knowledgeable Skins fan on this Board ... your latest post (this one) is a classic ... it will be remebered as the most entertaining post ever ... look at all the weird responses you have provoked (and continue to do so) ... half the Board thinks your sarcastic ... the other half ... well let's not go there. This thread is so ingenious ... so perfect ... it touches every anxiety every Skins fan can possibly possess and theoretically can go on forever (which I hope it does). I see from your your age your old enough to be my son. If you were I'd be mighty proud of ya! This Board will never be the same again. Long live Barry Wilburn! TonyH
It would make perfect sense. Brunell is washed up. Ramsey is a solid back-up. And Campbell needs a few more years to develop. Let's trade Lavar for Carson Palmer. Palmer is younger than Peyton Manning and is a better passer than Vick. He's the only player I can think of who is even in a class with LaVar, so it would be a perfect trade for both teams!!! This easily wins dumbest post of the week! Maybe you can get Carson Palmer's jock for Arrington.
graffjd
While we are at it maybe we can trade Ramsey straight up for Julius Peppers!

rtbasye
Good Lord... this is the stupidest thing I've ever heard... who even knows if Palmer will ever play again... LA is a solid linebacker and assuming he does come back, Palmer is one of the top 3 QBs in the NFL... lay off the crack pipe dude! If you said LA for Brad Johnson, or Brian Griese or some other old/washed up/ never developed qb you might have an arguement... no freaking way this would ever happen

bryceb07
You would think the people on this website would know more about other players in the NFL. Carson Palmer DID just sign a huge contract, and why would the Redskins want soemone who might not even be back for training camp ? I mean how dumb are you? By boring do you mean, knows what it takes to win? Doesnt throw bad passes, Likes to go far in the playoffs?? You're right the qb position just comes down to being exciting. I'd like to see Ron Artest as our starting qb next year! now that sounds like a good time! Maybe he could kick his center in the ass to let him know when to snap the ball, I dont want ron wasting his time learning a snap count.

Jumbo
Dumb? You really think that the Redskins wouldn't want Palmer?I understand that you're sad to see #56 leave, but don't let that cloud your judgement. to make this really effective tho I think you also have undo our mistake in the draft on Gibbs first year and send #21 on the same plane to ohio but with a stopover in cleveland and get winslow winslow from the browns for #21. first, they are not happy with KWII and second #21 he's not a gibbs player and has disgraced the skins. can you just see palmer throwing to winslow right now? imagine it. now we are 15-1. Hail_to_Kessel
It's simple, Lavar is a game-changer. Did you miss his dominant 4 sack performance against Dallas two weeks ago? He's just what the Bengals need to get over the top. not sacks, tackles...big difference..
