e have been informed that the 49ers and David Boston have agreed to a contract. Reports are they agreed in principle last night on a contract.

Yesterday we reported that the 49ers and ex-Miami receiver David Boston were in negotiations. Well as of today no new news to develop, but our info has also been confirmed by Matt Maiocco of the Press Democrat. He restated what we reported yesterday and he has confirmation from two sources. Stay tuned for more news as the story develops.

03.09.05 -- Sources close to 49ersNews.com have informed us that the 49ers and former Miami Dolphin WR David Boston are close to finalizing a deal that will put Boston in Red & Gold. The deal is currently being negotiated which appears to be a one to two year deal based on incentives. Mainly due to Boston's recent injuries. Stay tuned for more details...

So let all the muscle head talk end here.

Did the 49ers need another wideout? Didn't they already have Loyd, Woods, and Wilson?

He'll either wreck their lockeroom or wreck his knees out there like he's done everywhere else. I'm amazed someone hasn't told him that the reason he continues to suffer these ligament tears is because of the steroids and the havoc they play on ligaments and tendons from the sheer bulk they must carry.
