In the near future it could be Me +4, but I am not sure just yet. Lemme just ask to whomever is actually organizing the ticket purchasing. What exactly is being done for us out of towners. What I mean is. I know that we will each have to book our own plane flights, but if we are a part of this group, does it mean that our hotel rooms(along with our tickets of course) will all be taken care of for us as far as reserving them? I think if at all possible we should maybe setup meetings with Arizona locales participating in this on that thursday and friday and saturday nights for people flying in. Maybe setup some group dinners or something. That way we can all get aquanited a day or two before the game, maybe hangout with each other at the hotel....etc.... Also, will there be a deadline for this project so that if something goes sour at the last minute, we will be notified that we have to buy our tickets by ourselves. The main reason I ask is because I have a few friends interested, but they are not members of the board, so in essence any info they get is 3rd party through me, and I don't want to keep telling them this is going to happen, and then say 2 weeks before the game, I have to call them and tell them to start checking ebay because everything fell through........catch my drift? Sorry if I sound like a paranoid loony-man, but I have not done much traveling alone, or without family, and everytime it was booked by parents or relatives, and all I had to do was showup for the plane ride and at the hotel for check-in. SoCalSkins Posted April 25, 2005 Share Posted April 25, 2005 Pretty much after May or June when the group tix go on sale, if the plans fall through you can start looking for tickets elsewhere. Season ticket holders don't get their seats until late July, so you won't see many for sale at a good price until then anyway. If the group tickets fall through, which I highly doubt given the size of those that are already committed, you will easily be able to get seats, even Ticketmaster will have good seats because the Cardinals fan base sucks. As far as the hotel, once we find out the team hotel, we can call them and setup a group rate. Yes, the travel part is up to you but come june/ july when we have enough people with us I guess we send him the money and once collected he'll buy the group tickets and mail them off to each of us....... I wouldn't mind having dinner or something else but I could imagine the expression on the chef ..... Seriously though, you have nothing to worry about. You will have my contact information as well as other's here who are travelling from out of town. You will know EXACTLY where everyone is staying and trust me, the hotel is close to the airport. I can arrange transportation for you or taking a cab would be super cheap. We'll probably end up arranging something for Saturday night at a local outdoor bar or we could even meet at the hotel and have some drinks.
