All these touchdowns are messing up our #2 ranked defense record... Maybe upshaw was right. they practice so hard during the regular week , by the time the game comes, they are worn out? bulldog Posted November 22, 2004 Share Posted November 22, 2004 the worst part is Gibbs, Bugel and Breaux have no clue how to fix what is broken. they picked a number of these new players and also brought back some guys that there were questions about. on defense Williams seems to have done a lot more to make an impact on his charges. the defense isn't the most talented unit in the NFL, but at least they play hard and don't beat themselves very often. and they have subs that step up and compete. Gibbs hasn't gotten either the starters or the subs to do that yet. Gibbs is close to losing this team. They are close to packing it in for the season. Watch some pro ball before you open your mouth and realize that Clinton Portis is on pace to be the first back in NFL history to rush for 1500 yards in each of his first 3 seasons.
