Down 5-2 late on the road to come out with a win is a straight up stolen game. Love to see it. Think of all the times our birds would lose a game like that and you’d just sit there pissed. Held em down with RISP all day and then a 3 run homer by a bench guy and scoring the winning run on a hit base runner. Maddening if your a jays fan.

Takes all the pressure off today, which is great because they’ve pretty much used all their bullpen bullets to get the first two.

I rally didn’t think the back end of our bullpen was going to be able to pull that off

Before they optioned Irvin  down for Givens, I thought they were going to do a “reverse bullpen” game where they have Kremer hopefully go 6+ and then turn it over to Irvin to get work. Ah well. 3 of the big 4 get 2 days rest for the Yanks series now.

The leaks were true. The color of the neighborhoods break up the black and I really like the B logo. It works as an alternate uni.

And I get what they were going for, but it's still a dissapointment.

At least we can fall back on having a top tier regular uni!

I get what they were going for.  But it's still very boring.

Bustin the game open in the 8th vs the Yanks!

3 runs never feels like enough.

New Yankee stadium is such an ugly looking place. A soulless, gray and navy blue commercial space with a field in the middle.

Yankees damn near got swept.

Yea I’d say they traded games that “got away” and Gibson just got it done tonight. Offense did just enough.

Is it me or are the Yankees obsessed with mid-inning pitching changes?

I mean Peralta would have hit a fan were it not for the netting so ...

Buttons are meant to be pushed, especially by button pushers.

I don't got a problem w/ it if you got the stable, especially in a new pitch clock world where you could be helping prevent your guys blowing out their arms mid-season.

Who knows how bodies will react over time. Get 'em in, get 'em out.

Yea, I was just thinking out loud. I wonder if they were trying to get guys in or are they hyper focused on having their pitchers pitch to 3 specific batters and only those? Maybe it was an outlier, I don't know.

Hyde tends to be more of a "This is your inning" guy.

Ah well....

Back at home for another big series against the Rangers.
