But since we are going to hell in a handbasket and you all are coming off a win, I expected more smacktalk. But still, the apathetic tone exists. Oh well. The extreme loathing most of us have for Dallas usually impedes healthy, civil debate. But here's an attempt at a detailed breakdown of the game for you. The Dallas season slide will continue in the winter mix at Fed Ex Sunday, with Troy Hambrick and Quincy Carter fumbling the ball more than Tiki Barber with his hands covered in Crisco. Bill Parcells will be standing on the sidelines looking like a disgruntled Jabba the Hut. The rout will start early and continue on into the night. The usual Dallas fans who show up at the game will start off in their usual loud, obnoxious fashion, then will grow quieter and quieter until they slink out of the stadium mid-way through the fourth quarter. Burgold Posted December 11, 2003 Share Posted December 11, 2003 I think we will do better this time. The line seems to be protecting better and the hits/sacks on our qb is way down. Both of our primary running backs are injured which will hurt a lot and we may have someone literally off the street as a ball carrier with many reps. The defense is confusing, but ultimitately still fails to adequately pressure the qb and gives up the big play too readily. We have gotten better against the run. I think the Redskins and Dallas game may well be decided by drive as much as personel and strategy this week. Can the Redskins truly fight? Will the big losses and demotions cause the Cowboys to go into a funk? We have a chance to beat the Cowboys, but only if we play with a lot of discipline and have sucess early.
