Obscure Fun Facts about them: - The team was originally going to be called the Oakland Señors. I am not making that up. That was the winner of a Name-That-Team contest for the new team, but after a bunch of local ridicule, the team changed it before their 1960 inaugural season in the AFL. (I'm trying to picture what the logo for the Oakland Señors would look like.) - Their first head coach, Eddie Erdelatz, took the job after turning down a coaching offer from the Redskins. He was fired 2 games into the second season. Another fact I am not making up, and which thus begins this week's look-a-like thread...
