OK, here's an interesting evolution of a song that I noticed recently and started looking into. I noticed that the Rolling Stones Shake your hips sounded a lot like ZZtops La Grange, no idea why I didn't ever notice before. Then I found other similar songs, one of which the Rolling Stones actually covered.

 

Some say that this is the original but to me it's not so obvious but there are several versions of this one. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then of course there is this comment in the Lagrange messages, kind of funny:

 

"There is just NO OTHER SOUND like this on earth! Just the best Texas blues! 🇺🇸 from a born and breed Texas girl"

 

Then in 1983 at a live show John Lee Hookers song starts to sound like La Grange or Shake your Hips, lol.
