GOSKINS_08
I'm thinking of going to the Redskins giants game in new York in September. Who has gone and what's the best hotel closest to the stadium? Any help would be appreciated.
Trung Canidate
I've been to a game at MetLife. Stadium is nice but still in the middle of nowhere next to a horribly developed mall. Staid at my buddies house so not sure about hotels in the area.
LaRonDontLikeUgly
Wouldn't say it's in the middle of nowhere being that its 15 min from my place which is 10 minutes from Times Square lol. Your best best is to find a hotel in NJ. My suggestion would be somewhere in Secaucus, NJ because there are a ton of restaurants/places to go. Much cheaper hotels as well. The stadium is nice and game day experience is good as well. Have fun.
skinfan2k
It's a easy 1 day trip for a game. It's not 10 mins from Times Square.
Morrison J
If you're in any proximity to Manhattan your ok. There are shuttle buses which takes about 20mins from Port Authority direct to Metlife Stadium.
Hooterman
Been to two games there. Lucky me, they were both years that the skins beat the Giants and then the Giants went on to win to Super Bowl. One of the times we stayed at a Marriott about 10 min from the stadium.
mbws
There are plenty of hotels in Secaucus, and there is public transportation from there to the stadium. There is also a train from Penn Station in Manhattan.
RyansRangers
I am going to the game.. I am taking the Metro North into City from Connecticut and taking the $10 bus from port authority right to game and back.. its the best transportation to the game.. 20-25 min bus ride

Didn't say it was 10 minutes from TS, was talking about my place which is 15 minutes from stadium and 10 from TS. There are also buses that run directly from Port Authority that have some pretty serious lines, but can get you to the stadium in under an hour once you start rollin. TradeTheBeal!
Stay in Jersey near the Stadium. Take shuttles to and from the stadium. Also, you can take a shuttle to the train station and pub crawl Manhattan after the Skins victory. It's darn good fun and a vastly superior game day experience to any in Raljon. Sikbug
I've taken the train from Manhattan or just drove. I've never done the bus before. If you want to stay somewhere cheaper, stay in NJ, if you want to make a NYC trip out of it, stay in the city instead, it's not hard to get to and back.
