Man, watching all these people and pets being pulled off roofs or out of windows and wading through the water is so surreal and sad.

I had to turn on some football & do some chores, dig through some clothes and stuff to donate  It's too heartbreaking, watching a huge portion of citizens of one state lose absolutely everything.:(

Just talked to my Houston buddy.  His house, realty office and his wife's parents house are under water.  They've gathered up all the family and retreated to Austin, all of em packed in at his parents house.  They're gonna hunker down and say some prayers.

Our house usually does well in the floods. But this is an unreal flood. The rain hammering all of houston and surrounding areas has  just overloaded all the waterways.

It's just a waiting game now to see how far the water rises. Fortunately we haven't had strong winds yet.

Flooding is supposed to get a lot worse in most places.  Be careful you don't wake up in a house under water.

Yeah we won't be sleeping any time soon. Just weighing our options at the moment and trying to prep for evacuation.
