Commander PK
Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora Texans select TE Fiedorowicz to open 3rd round, Redskins get a T Morgan Moses. position they needed to fill. Dropping down served them well he must hate to admit that. Ok now what do I want..... Safety
#98QBKiller
Good 3rd round pick. RG3 has to be feeling good, although having a great WR corps, a shored up OL and very good RB/TEs put it all on him. I believe in him and Gruden and this offense certainly looks impressive on paper. It's just up to them to engineer it into a great offense on the field. HapHaszard
old WP article on Morgan Moses, might interest someone. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/wp/2014/01/24/virginia-ot-morgan-moses-enjoying-nfl-preview/
redrobert
I think they may go with Guard Jackson, or even the C from USC however some Secondary help would be more than welcome! And there goes Martin oh well
DaGoonie55
Wahooooooo! Man, deep sigh of relief that we got him. I was hoping we could grab a T. Great job FO.

SJValleySkinz
Id be ok with Archer here. I really want Terrance Brooks but could be anyone really. Richardson and Richardson still on the board.

redrobert
Moses needs to become best friends with T. Williams, good coaching and making him understand what it takes to be a pro will be the keys..
GhostofSparta
Guard. 320 lbs. Ill take it.

SJValleySkinz
Was one of the best guards in the draft pre-injury
SteveFromYellowstone
Looks like we are going with some big boys on the o-line, I think I like it. Hopefully we still see some secondary picks.
redrobert
Would have preferred G Jackson if a guard was taken. Ravens got The guy I thought we would take in S Brooks...
#98QBKiller
I'll take it. I like two back-to-back picks in the 3rd on the OL. According to most accounts I read on him, he was one of the top guards before his injury
Commander PK
Well, wanted a safety but at least we took another o-lineman.
redrobert
Per Rotoworld: Long (6-foot-4 5/8, 320) made 33 starts for the 'Huskers, primarily at right guard, before suffering a season-ending left MCL tear six games into his senior year. He pumped 225 pounds 28 times at Nebraska's Pro Day. When healthy, Long is a huge-handed (10 3/4") drive blocker with tools to be a running-game asset. He has average athleticism for pass blocking, but upside to become a starting right guard. Long's senior-year injury could ultimately make him a draft-day steal. #98QBKiller
Like the writeup on his strengths from the combine: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/spencer-long?id=2543620 STRENGTHS Very solidly built with a good frame. Good leg drive -- can create a push in the run game and position-sustain. Solid in pass protection -- good anchor, shadow and mirror. Good base and balance -- controls and steers defenders. Flashes some nastiness. Intense, competitive battler. Smart and instinctive. Lunchpail worker will do a lot of extras and is very ambitious and driven to succeed. Excellent weight-room strength -- can squat a small house. Good versatility -- has played inside and outside. Very tough and played much of final two seasons through knee injuries. Possessed the biggest hands of any offensive lineman at the combine. and his weaknesses are mostly related to his injury: WEAKNESSES Average athlete. Is tight-ankled and heavy-legged -- lumbers to the second level. Struggled with the quickness of Minnesota's Ra'shede Hageman (though he was noticeably playing through a knee injury that required surgery and forced him to miss the rest of the season after leaving the Minnesota game). Labors to cut off the inside rush. Struggles to adjust and pick off linebackers and is not efficient pulling and trapping.

The Rook
Like the OG pick, but I think Long would have been available in the 4th. Just seems like a reach. The Rook
