CaliSkinsFan92
ESPN 980 @ESPNRadio980 The #Redskins will have a middle of the field re-sod after SD, before SF MNF, in addition to a major surface & drainage system renovation.

RFK Lives
Field fail. This sums it up nicely. I really thought they might do something a little more impressive to address this issue. What I want to see next is the schedule of events other than Redskins home games for FedEx Field. Then we can build a Field Watch Calendar and grade it, if we put that on the board, I bet that might garner a little attention.

Nothing garnered more attention to the pathetic field than the playoff game, media blaming it for injuries and NFL saying they might step in to ensure all fields are better maintained to a specific standard. If that didn't prompt more change than a re-sod I doubt anything else will.

redskns21
yeah its happening to me as well. Yes, this started for me today as well, I run Chrome so I installed an extension called AdBlock which has worked great in removing those. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock/gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom It is free but they kind of make you feel bad for using it for free LOL. Page loads are a tad slower but the annoying ads are gone.
styx491
I'm happy this is happening. Does anyone know if this company does other fields and stadiums too?
Unpredictable
I'm happy this is happening. Does anyone know if this company does other fields and stadiums too? I'm not sure if this company does other stadiums but from what I understand, this is the same process the Eagles have done to rectify the same issue a few years back. mikered30
Here is a good and new article about the grass currently being grown for the field. Also from the article: FedEx Field will not play host to any college football games in 2013, preventing unnecessary deterioration of the playing surface during the season. http://washington.cbslocal.com/2013/04/23/drainage-problems-contributed-to-poor-playing-surface-at-fedex-renovations-underway/

I can't imagine those are any good for the field.
