Ronnie Brown still an Eagle. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7122931/ronnie-brown-detroit-lions-voided-due-jerome-harrison-health-sources-say I just saw a report on NFL Live that the Eagles traded Ronnie Brown to the Lions. No word yet on the conditions, I'll try to get this updated as soon as I see it. Update: First link I found on the trade: http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3155/ronnie-brown Eagles traded RB Ronnie Browns to the Lions in exchange for Jerome Harrison and an undisclosed 2013 draft pick. Saw this update on ESPN's fantasy site: Meanwhile, Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports the pick is a seventh-round pick.

terrifNick21
Has he touched the ball this year? Yes, and as he was about to get tackled, he turned around and threw the ball. :rotflmao:
In The Barrel
Love this trade. Jerome was doing well last year, even had some great runs vs. The Skins on Monday Night. I thought RB would help with short and third. But he failed and even screwed up major on the 3rd and goal. Horrible. Jerome and Dion Lewis will be great in the next 3/4 of the year. ouvan59
The Eagles also get a pick out of this? For Ronnie Brown? Really?
dockeryfan
I guess I'm in the minority that thinks Ronnie Brown is a better back. I think it's just Reid making a statement. That and the point that Philly doesn't really need him.
royallypwned
Hope Brown enjoys watching Best beast from the sidelines.
GhostofSparta
Hope Brown enjoys watching Best beast from the sidelines. In a few weeks, maybe. But the reason this trade was made was because Best has another concussion (he had one this preseason too). So I think they'd rather lean on Brown for a few weeks than Maurice Morris, and they didn't think Harrison could do it. And if it's a 7th rounder, that's not a terrible deal. GhostofSparta
don't they have keiland? Yep, he's their 4th string RB (Don't know many teams that carry those, plus a FB) http://www.nfl.com/teams/detroitlions/depthchart?team=DET

Gibbs Hog Heaven
With Helu and Royster, I'd be dangling Hightower and Torrain in front of the Lions to see which they liked best. A desperate team could be a team we could get value from to help next off-season with the continued rebuild. We won't. But I certainly would. Hail. *Edit* Scrap that, it's Wednesday already.
