Update: Trade nullified.

I just saw a report on NFL Live that the Eagles traded Ronnie Brown to the Lions. No word yet on the conditions, I'll try to get this updated as soon as I see it.

Update: First link I found on the trade: http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/3155/ronnie-brown

Eagles traded RB Ronnie Browns to the Lions in exchange for Jerome Harrison and an undisclosed 2013 draft pick.

Saw this update on ESPN's fantasy site: Meanwhile, Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reports the pick is a seventh-round pick.

Hope Brown enjoys watching Best beast from the sidelines.

In a few weeks, maybe. But the reason this trade was made was because Best has another concussion (he had one this preseason too). So I think they'd rather lean on Brown for a few weeks than Maurice Morris, and they didn't think Harrison could do it.

And if it's a 7th rounder, that's not a terrible deal.

Lions | Jerome Harrison has brain tumor

Thu, 20 Oct 2011 10:12:42 -0700

Detroit Lions RB Jerome Harrison (head) was not traded to the Philadelphia Eagles because a physical showed he has a brain tumor. He has begun receiving treatment for the tumor and his long-term outlook for his life as well as his playing career appears to be good. He is expected to miss the rest of this season.
