But according to a source, Bryant's problems won't be completely solved until he earns more money or signs a new contract. Bryant faced two lawsuits in the spring seeking more than $850,000 from the Dallas Cowboys receiver. One of the suits was settled, but one is alive in Tarrant County. In the pending suit, Eleow Hunt, of Colleyville, alleges that Bryant and his adviser, David Wells, owe him about $600,000 for jewelry, sports tickets and repayment of loans. Bryant, beginning his second season, has four years left on a five-year, $11.8 million contract. He earned $2.84 million in 2010 in salary, signing and roster bonuses. He will make $1.1 million in base salary this season.

Bibby
Dez Bryant sounds like he's beating the statistic where NFL players go broke within 3 years out of the league. Breaking records I tell ya'.

Gibbs Hog Heaven
Calling Ken or RGSB to the ATN to tell us all again how stupid we all are and how we should take Bryant over any Redskins wide-out. Hail.
martytheman
Idiot. He deserves every problem he has brought on himself. All that bs about people getting alot of money and don't know any better is just that... bs. It's common sense, and in that department Dez is severely lacking. Redskins Life
DB? I think DA would be more fitting. This guy doesn't seem to get it. It always bothers me when I see someone who has finally been given a chance that none of his/her family or friends have had the opportunities to have, and they dump it away out of pure immaturity and stupidity. tr1
If I'm a DB playing against Dez, I'd wear diamonds in my ears to distract him. :rotflmao:

Califan007 The Constipated
http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story/_/id/7096159/dallas-cowobys-wr-dez-bryant-fails-show-hearing-settle-600000-debtRemember when Bryant said his debt problems were over? Ummmm, not so much. "According to court documents, Bryant postponed an Oct. 4 hearing to Oct. 11, but he failed to arrive for Tuesday's hearing at West's office and didn't give a reason. Bryant had wanted to take care of all court matters on Tuesdays, which is the regular day off for players in the NFL. But because he failed to show up Tuesday, Blackwood's latest motion asks for the settlement hearing to be held on any day." Ok, so....does this mean that they can now hold a hearing on, say, a Thursday, and Bryant would have to miss practice in order to attend it? Lets hope this pisses off the judge who's secretly a skins fan and he schedules the follow up hearing for 11/20, and sends the police to make sure he gets there
Hiro
But but, he's so talented!! And any team in the NFC East would gladly trade their best receiver for him!! :rotflmao: What a clown. Another winner you picked there, Jerruh!
