Champskins
Oh well looks like the Patriots are getting a looksy at Hunt. wouldnt worry about that, they dont need anybody.... they are already super bowl contenders and back in their 2007 form with plenty of picks in the upcoming draft. I doubt he will stick

acuratl1984
I am happy that the FO is bringing OL an DL (NT) onto the practice squad, BUT imo we really need to look at some LBs. If we want to rebuild and still succeed we need to look at every avenue that a possible gem can be found... AFL UFL CFL .
blindlywewander
Is that Mike Hunt's brother? He seems a bit too small to play the position, but I'm sure Shanny will explore many, many options this offseason. After watching those videos, the guy is obviously a beast. A bit early for this thread though.
method man
Not at all. A team will sign him to a futures contract for next season very soon. Can someone please let someone like PD know about this thread to show to Allen?

rdavis2005
I wish we would have signed this guy over Rob Jackson. He is more of a 34 rush linebacker and has had a history of success wherever he goes(see Cameron Wake) unlike Jackson who didn't do anything in college and has been ho hum in the preseason. Jackson doesn't have the speed to play linebacker.
DRSmith
Here is a list of about ten guys that they figure would make the move to the NFL this coming off season http://www.tsn.ca/blogs/dave_naylor/?id=347244
Hitman21ST
Garret McIntyre might make for a nice addition to our DL. But I say we find out if the Steelers or Patriots are going after any of them, and go into a bidding war with those guys.

Seeing how this team is about to be blown up, we could see someone from this list in for a tryout.
Champskins
Posted Feb. 11, 2011 @ 11:17 a.m. ET By PFW staff The Eagles are expected to sign CFL star DE Phillip Hunt, according to FoxSports.com. Hunt, who led the Canadian Football League with 16 sacks last season, is expected to take a physical in the next 24 hours and sign a multiyear deal. Hunt went undrafted in 2009 and signed with the Browns as an undrafted free agent before being waived a few days later. The deadline for CFL players to move to the NFL is Feb. 15. The way we see it The Eagles are likely hoping to find the next Cameron Wake, who was a two-time CFL Player of the Year. Wake finished third in the league in sacks this season with 14 in just his second season with the Dolphins. ............................ Damn that sucks man..... I agree with Shaun Rogers as a stop gap NT/DE if he pans out for a few years, but we don't even consider guys like Hunt??? WTF.... now he will be an enemy Iggle, probably wreaking havoc on poor Rex Grossman next year .

pjfootballer
I like Andy Fantuz. It's like he has stickum on his gloves. He catches everything. He plays tough and isn't afraid to go over the middle. He could be a good slot receiver if Santana leaves.
