NAC386
What about LeFevour? Did anyone find this? I haven't seen it posted anywhere.
GIBBS LIVES
Vince Young had a score of 9 or 11. And his lack of intelligence on the field is evident. The QB position is mostly cerebreal.
National Defense
i believe that Heath Shuler scored a 16 however, you also have numbers like these: Donovan McNabb, Syracuse - 16, 12 1995: Steve McNair, Alcorn State -
SoCalSkins
i believe that Heath Shuler scored a 16 That is 2 higher than Jason Campbell's first score.
G.A.C.O.L.B.
Curious: What was Ryan Leaf's score? And what was Sanchez's score last year?
Dark Acre
Vick's was so low (6) because he stopped to tie his shoe and forgot how.
Siven
He' s just below average QB, significantly below average starter. I don't see how you can justifiably make the claim Jason Campbell is a below average starter when he was statistically slightly better than average, and better than many QB's with worse offensive lines and running attacks and possessing defenses that could tackle when it matters or hold a lead. zCommander
Colt Brennan - 24 Jason Campbell - 23 (after second try) Interesting.
Laxpunk2006
Take a look at that list again on page 1 of this thread, post 7.I'll take any of the top 5 scorers on that list above any of the bottom 5. So many posters want to talk about QB's being "winners." I see a lot of QB's near the bottom of that list that were "winners" as starters. Vince Young posts horrible stats but wins. So does Mike Vick. Even Jeff George put up some pretty good seasons. What about the list on page two? Drew Henson and Alex Smith top that chart. Not exactly blowing up the league right now. Charlie Frye, Matt Leinart, and Kellen Clemens are all above Tom Brady. Joey Harrington, Patrick Ramsey, Sage Rosenfels, and JP Losman all scored better than Phillip Rivers. You can't just pick a few names from a limited pool of data to form an educated opinion. The wonderlic means very little and I doubt many GM's put much stock into it. Siven
The wonderlic isn't a test of QB intelligence at all. it's just a standardized test that means nothing. Playing a sport is exactly that -- playing a sport. Being a great QB is about vision and field awareness. It's not about doing logic problems or solving math. It's about anticipation and having the "it" factor. The wonderlic doesnt test for any of this at all
VaBeachRedskin
Michael Vick scored a 20 on the Wonderlic. http://www.unc.edu/~mirabile/Wonderlic.htm
G.A.C.O.L.B.
Being a great QB is about vision and field awareness. See Clausen and 4 (four) INT's on the entire season.
Ryman of the North
great qbs process information AND have pretty good measurables, you can overcome not being great at the wonderlic but you cant overcome a noodle arm in the nfl (hence guys like wuerfell et al). but id prefer a guy who had a high score on it as well as put up stats in college and at the combines. skinsfan07
I wonder what Peyton Manning got? Just checked, he only got a 28. And imo he's the smartest QB we've seen in years.

Chicken Fried
Bradford's the smart one. That means we need to target him.

DGREENHULK
Bradford's score is impressive but remember Bradford had the majority of his SR year to study for this test because well he didn't spend anytime playing football.

Peregrine
It seems to be 28-33 is the sweet spot...Guys too high are starters, but not superstars, and guys below that well, struggle. Maybe because a QB needs to be smart enough to read the field well, but not too smart where he is overthinking?
Commander Adama
Honestly, I think this causes me to like Sam Bradford a little more for our first pick, and set against us drafting Claussen.
