This is just saying movies like Paranormal Activity or something like that won't allow anyone under 21 to be in there so they won't ruin the movie! Very nice! Nothing worse than going to the movies and having a bunch of kids in there talking throughout the entire movie and just being dumb! It was horrible during Paranormal Activity! Only thing to improve this is if they get IMAX! So glad that this will only be 3 miles from my house:laugh:

ACW
21? Why not 18? Why not just kick out obnoxious people? OTOH, if ALL theaters did this, no Twilight
Chopper Dave
Thing is, I'm almost 23, and most of the people around my age are, you guessed it, still obnoxious *******s. I do get annoyed by all the little ****ing middle schoolers that hang around outside the theater, but other than that I doubt this will eliminate the problem. kiingspadee
well ****, something smells like age discrimination to me No it's not! redwoody86
No it's not! There will be screens for everyone - I think there will be only like 2-4 of them that have this age restriction That's like saying it would be okay to not let blacks in certain screens because we have other screens available for them. That's still discrimination. I wish I could go to a theater like this.
DRSmith
well ****, something smells like age discrimination to me If you can set age restrictions for getting into movies how would this be any different?

skinfan133
If you can set age restrictions for getting into movies how would this be any different? because all of the restrictions are for minors. the NC-17 rating bars anyone under 18 and is the highest rating there is. You can't age discriminate minors and alcohol sales are discriminated because of state laws that allow it. There's no law that says a business can refuse a patron between the ages of 18-20 in regards to movie theaters.
