GhostofSparta
well ****, something smells like age discrimination to me No more so than a restuarant that has a bar saying "Nobody under 18/21 is allowed to sit at the bar."
skinfan133
No more so than a restuarant that has a bar saying "Nobody under 18/21 is allowed to sit at the bar." except that is by law, not by business choice (for 21). you're allowed to bar people under 18 from your business because they are minors.baring legal adults from a movie theater? show me the law, otherwise that's illegal discrimination. I am sure they have looked into this - perhaps because they are serving BEER AND ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES! In these screens they allow you to order drinks - so that is why there is 21+! So this is the reasoning I take it
Bubble Screen
All teenagers should be barred from movie theaters, unless accompanied by an adult. Babies, too.
steveo21
Best Theater in VA is the Alamo Draft House in Winchester VA that opened this past fall. The same as the ones in Texas. If you talk or use a cellphone you are warned or kicked out. They have 2 dollar movies nights. Horror nights. Movies guest like Pedro from ND will be here this month. Check them out. Jrew1223
It will be interesting to see how the new theatre affects the movie going in general for the area. If two competing theatres are too close to one another then they have to share product. It means that they split the new releases. For example: If Star Wars came out and the next week Lord of the Rings then you'd have to watch one movie at the muvico and the other at regal. MarkB452
I gotta be honest, that's the first time I've even heard us referred to as Fredvegas. Me either and I've lived here for about 16 of the last 23 years....those 7 other years were in Richmond. I do see the entry in the Urban Dictionary though. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=fredvegas
