Came within a botched field goal attempt of making it 10 years ago when we lost that 13-0 lead to Tampa. In '05 I think we would have beaten Seattle in the playoffs, if an injured Mark Brunell hadn't reverted to '04 form. But nobody except us remembers what almost happens - this franchise is pretty pathetic. They also mentioned the skins are the 3rd lowest scoring team of the past decade. I don't think that can be right, cause 96 was. Yes there are 16 teams in the divisions, and 2 teams each year in the Championship game for the Conference. So Let's see: NFC East: NY Giants: 00, 07 Phily: 01, 02, 03, 04, 08 Washington: Pukes: NFC North: Packers: 95, 96. 97, 07 Bears: 06, Lions: Vikes: 99,00 NFC South: New Orleans: 06 Atlanta: 99, 04 Tampa: 02 Panthers: 97, 03, 05 NFC West: Cards: 08 Rams: 01 Seahawks: 05 49ers: But note if you push back 2 more years, both Dallas and 49ers had been to the dance, in fact the 49ers and dallas were in the 92-95 teams.... The Redskins won a Superbowl in 92 and the pokes had a run in the early 90's as well. The iggles have taken advantage of the woeful NFC east over the years to go to the NFCCG and beyond and still haven't delivered a Lombardi (unfortunately they could this year) but unless you win it all it doesn't matter.
