REDSKINZ-RIDEORDIE
HELLLLLL NO, our offense STANKS...........Offense is our biggest problem. If we do go defense, it better be for a LB so we permanently put B-Rakpo Bama at DE.......
MartinC
The best thing Suh will do for the Redskins is get picked in the top 3 spots by a team who otherwise might have taken a QB or OT who now could fall to us. As for the 3-4 I don't know why folks are so keen to switch defensive systems when we are a top 10 defense running the 4-3. If it ain't broke don't fix it guys. Buck812
I would love for Suh to fall to us but I will still take McCoy if he does... Hell no on the 3-4 though. Haynesworth, Suh/McCoy, Orakpo, Carter and Jarmon would be sick. Talking about putting pressure on an the oppositions offense???

MartinC
Haynesworth doesn't want to play NT in a 3-4. If we did switch to a 3-4 Haynesworth would spend most of his time at DE I would think and he would be very good in that role. But not as good as he is as the best 3 techique DT in the NFL out of the 4-3.

Looking at your sig this is probably heresy to you but I don't think McCoy is a 1st round QB let alone top 10. He may develop into a good QB with some work but he needs a lot if work on his footwork and set up and work on timing dropping back frm under centre. Good project with great potential in the second round but not a franchise QB pick IMO.
VRIEL1
All this depends on several things: 1) Who's the HC? 2) Do we need to revamp the OL for the new scheme? 3) Can we tender JC for one more year otherwise we need a QB? 4) Will he be available when we pick? which I doubt. 5) Will we stay with a 4-3 and be top 5 or change to a 3-4 and pick Suh? wilco_holland
Draft Suh and put him at LT....lol. I think he is a beast, but we can't invest that type of money in two DT's....a top 5-7 pick + the 100 mil. dollar man.

illone
I will laugh my ass off if the Skins draft another defender high in the draft. It's time for Oline, fellas.
mnb123
why does everyone have a fascination with the 3/4?
LoudMouth12thMan
If Suh is available, which I don't think he will be, you pick him and stay as a 4-3 for now. BPA is always the best policy. If Suh is there and an O lineman that isn't graded out as high at his position, you go with Suh... no brainer but again, I don't think that he'll be there unless we pick in the top 3. Veretax
Our Scheme 4-3 is fine, We do not have the linebackers or NT to play a 3-4 correctly.

On another point, unless the skins trade up to top 2 in the draft, the only Suh on the skins will be DS suh-ing ticket holders. Therefore, this thread is pretty useless...sorry. Going Commando
Wait... our defensive line is far and away stronger than our linebackers and the talent differential would become even greater by drafting Suh. So why then would we want to change our formation to take a lineman off the field to add a linebacker? This is a dumb idea.
gutlead74
If suh is there without hesitation take him, and I'm the biggest we need OL guy on the board. No to the 34 wrong personelle. Carter, Suh, Haynesworth, and Orakpo up front pick up dekota Watson in the 4 th or 5 th we have ourselves a dominate front 7.
Jeff in D.C.
If Suh is on the board we have to do one of two things, pick him or trade the pick for a ton of picks in return. He's way too good to pass up for a QB, and can you imagine him next to Al? Al, Suh, Rak on the DL, there's no way you can double team more than one guy, and the other two would be able to go NUTS on the opposing QB.
