Can we not drag bullcrap into this thread, please?

This is going to be voted on by all of us here. No need to make this thread go down the tubes. The goal here is to put us in happier times, not sunken in depression.

Thanks for respecting the thread in the future :)

Wilkinson??? As in "Big Daddy"?? are you serious?

He SUCKED in the NFL.

5 years, 23 sacks, 4 picks, 2 FR, 1 TD.

I wouldn't say he sucked. I'd say he's better than alot of the other DTs we had in our franchise's history, actually. He wasn't a world beater, but he won't make the team, either.

I'm walking a fine line. Some people whine if I don't include someone, others whine if I do.

Yes you must must must have Otis Wonsley for fullbacks.

I don't think you should list Jacoby as a guard. I know he played some there but ususally as an injury replacement when shuffling needed to be done. I'm afraid that people will vote for him based on name recognition and more deserving true guards will be left out.

Tackles look good.

I'm happy you're going to include Big Daddy for the tackles. He was alot better than people give him credit for while with us. He's just tainted by the stink of having his name associated with Stubblefield.

For DE, I think Carter has done enough to be listed and I think Daniels has been here long enough that maybe he should be listed. I think both players likely deserve consideration ahead of Tony McGee who while a great player in his day, was only used as a situational pass rusher and was not a starter for his three years with the Skins.

I also think Fred Stokes might deserve to be considered at DE.

Just a few thoughts.

That's fine and all... But if you read the thread, we're doing a vote on it and it's no one person's team. So just vote for who you want to be on the team when the threads pop up :)

Returner closes today, Kicker closed Sunday, Center/Tackle Monday.

Punter and Long Snapper are already complete.

Be advised, when this is all done, I'm going to create another post with the actual team in it as well. With stats/bio type stuff. This is a ton of work, but whatever :)

Question for all of you:

Given that people aren't reading properly and are voting for 1 (If I say choose two) or voting for 5 (if I say choose two) should I just make it so that you can only vote for one in any of these polls, and if we need a tie breaker just create another poll for the backup positions?

Or do I keep it where you can vote for multiple people at the bigger positions?
