Usually it ranges from 7 - 30 seconds behind. I put the laptop on top of the tv, hook up the speakers and it works pretty good. I usually haven't had good luck with espn 980. In the past I've found looking up the stations on line and get their streaming feed. I think I remember from the list attached that the Roanoke and Tappahanock stations have worked really well for us.
