Skins PR
So any ideas... This is just a guess based on my first glimpse but I'd say it is possibly caused by a young and powerful pulsar (a rapidly spinning neutron star which is spewing energy out into the space around it to create complex and intriguing structures). The finger-like structures are likely caused by energizing knots of material in a neighboring gas cloud.

DC_Skins
150 light years across? Contemplate that for one second. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second . Therefore, a light second is 186,000 miles . 186,000 miles/second * 60 seconds/minute * 60 minutes/hour * 24 hours/day * 365 days/year = 5,865,696,000,000 miles/year A light year is 5,865,696,000,000 miles . So that would be ? 150 * 5,865,696,000,000 = 879,852,900,000,000 Miles Or 111,008,440,575 Earths stacked end to end. Not so big..
